Worth the drive. Best lobster roll over Cap'n Newicks, and the Clambake! They also have other delicious food AND best bang for your buck ice cream is coming soon. Friendly service. Highly recommend!

Such an awesome little place. Friendly folk. Got the lamb burger with Tzatziki. Cooked perfectly, juicy and delicious! Highly recommend if you're passing by. FYI, can't consume alcohol on their premises, bummer but worth it.

We've been stopping here for years to grab ice cream after a hike in the area, but finally went inside and met Maureen, one of the owners. She is one of the most delightful people that it has even been my pleasure to meet! She showed us around the store and the multi- page menu, explaining that her husband cooks almost everything from scratch - which is so impressive for such a modestly sized restaurant and large menu! This is the type of place where fresh baked cookies are cooling on the ice cream freezer before being packaged. Everything about it is charming! Can't recommend it highly enough! I especially recommend the smores ice cream, and hope you get to meet Maureen!

This adorable store/deli was so accommodating to my allergies. They went so far as to make me my own topping for a salad when I was allergic to ingredients in the dressings. The food was delicious and the service was above and beyond. If you’re in the area, this little country stop earned 5 stars from this lady. :)

Great post hike stop. Wonderful Glutenfree options- ice cream, sub rolls, pizza and pita. Highly recommend.

We stopped at The Corner Store for lunch today based on a recommendation from a friend. Very inviting from the outside, with a few picnic tables for outdoor dining. Another picnic table and bar stools faced the window for inside seating. The store was very clean and the atmosphere was very welcoming. The staff was very friendly and answered all our questions about the various menu items. Our party tried the steak & cheese sandwiches and I had the Pastrami Reuben. Everything was excellent! There was a generous amount of meat on each sandwich and they were delicious. Halfway through our meal another couple came in to try the award winning chili. We invited them to sit with us and we chatted a bit until we all went quiet while everyone enjoyed their meals. We were overwhelmed by the extensive dessert options, from canolis to ice cream. We were so full from our our lunches we opted to split one of the decadent oversized brownies. We agreed we'd come back to try some of the other menu items as well as indulge in some of the tempting desserts. What a find!

If you are looking for the most increadable food you have ever tasted, you need to eat here! I would highly recommend the sweet wild turkey sandwich, with a cup of the best seafood chowder ever made (it’s better then your mothers). Have kids? They will love the pizza! Available with many many topping options. Yummy Maine made ice cream and deserts available. You won’t regret choosing the Stow Corner Store for Breakfast Lunch or Dinner.

Great food, Moraine hooked us up with some nice filling food, could be cheaper but it’s the only place to grab a bite to eat within 30 miles or so.

The food here is very good. This is not your typical Maine corner store. We always stop in after hiking in Evans notch. We went yesterday and had amazing home made seafood chowder, with big chucks of fresh fish and lobster. They also have great gourmet deli sandwiches and homemade mac and cheese. The ice cream portions are huge and they have home made baked goods too. I love our tradition of stopping here, and I wish many years of success for this really nice little store.
