First of all, the staff and the service they provide is excellent. It's a terrific location overlooking the Portland Gateway cruise ship docking area. The interior is very warm and inviting. Outdoor seating in the warmer weather allows you to overlook the eastern Portland waterfront. The soups, chowders and sandwiches are well prepared and absolutely delicious! Navis is my morning go-to place for coffee or tea.... and very frequently, one of their delicious breakfast sandwiches. I will very frequently stop by in the afternoon for either chowder or soup to take home for dinner. I highly recommend this relatively new gem on the Portland waterfront.
Great job Navis team!!

Great place to get a quick bite and a drink. Nice staff... and the place is immaculate. Try a lobster roll or the breakfast sandwich with a glass of Prosecco. Warm chocolate chip cookie? Yes, please!

Stopped in for a breakfast bagel sandwich (delicious) and a cup of tea. A lovely young lady at the counter was friendly and prompt with service, and the food came quickly. The cafe was spotless including the restroom, noise level quite modest for a guy with bad hearing. I would definitely return if in the area again.

The Whoopie pie was amazing! It is honestly one of the most delicious things that I have ever tasted in my life. So darn good. Must eat! I had it with chocolate milk. Shared a lobster roll and soup with my mother as well. Excellent service and great location.

Navis Cafe in Portland is excellent and I suggest checking it out very soon. The food is fantastic and their lobster roll is unbelievably good! The owners and staff are very friendly. Navis was thoughtfully designed, offers an excellent selection and is conveniently located. Looking forward to our next visit!

I think this is a new place and it's very nice! The interior of has a clean look to it and uses very light nautical theming.

Really stellar service! I'm a big believer of you can tell a restaurants worth by how they fix mistakes and Navis was a home run! I had ordered the Stern without onions and the server caught it before it even hit the table.

The food was good! The Stern is a hot turkey, Gouda and apple sandwich. The bread is either made in house or locally because it's very fresh and absolutely delicious. The missing star is for the chipotle mayo they used... It's ok but completely overpowered the rest of the sandwich.

My husband had the Mainah which was a roast beef sandwich. He said it was just good. The price is a little high for just sandwiches. I believe both of ours were $10.95 each, although they are fairly big sandwiches. Overall, an excellent experience and highly recommend. Just maybe ask to go light on the dressings.

Nice cafe by Eastern Promenade trail. I usually get the Black & Tan coffee.
