The Navis Cafe is how we began most days while in Portland, staying at the new Cambria Hotel. When a day turned a bit too chilly, we even closed off our day with one more cup of delicious coffee at Navis!
Their fresh pastries are the perfect sustenance to get you going! Homemade Greek yogurt cups (with fresh berries and granola) added a little more sustenance as my choice to get going into a full day of Portland’s life! Their menu and stocked fridges offered even more though.
Once, we just sat outside to enjoy the views from their deck tables adorned with little vases of miniature carnations! All this with seagulls sweeping overhead while watching ferries come and go in the port. Even in San Francisco, I’ve never sat at a cafe with such beauty to “drink in” while enjoying a superb cappuccino!
Thank you everyone at Navis Cafe!

Tasty sandwiches and salads. Great selection of wine and local brews (on tap). The service was friendly and surprisingly fast considering how busy they were with locals as well as passengers waiting to board a small cruise ship departing that evening.

Great place to get a coffee, breakfast sandwich and enjoy views of the water. Open early. Eat inside, outside or to go.

Just ordered off door dash, I don’t leave negative reviews often. Breakfast burrito wasn’t even grilled or anything, just a cold wheat wrap filled with basic warm breakfast stuff. Tomato was super fresh but no flavor to the burrito. $17 with extra bacon which wasn’t there and doesn’t come with hasbrowns or a side. Breakfast sandwich had potential but didn’t have the avocado spread I paid for. Definitely would give it another shot when I don’t have to order online.

Husband and I stopped by for breakfast on a Saturday, I got the Lox of Love and he got the Navis Breakfast Sandwich. Both sandwiches were fresh and yummy. He only wished the sandwich he got had all the meats mentioned in the description rather then having to choose. The restaurant itself was clean and the staff was friendly. We would go back.

I expected this place to have more coffee options and was pretty disappointed. I guess I should review a place on what they have vs what I wanted them to have. But I really just went there for coffee, lol. The young lady at the counter saved the whole experience because she was so darn sweet and genuine. The menu looked decent, maybe I'll try it again and get some food. It was very clean and fairly busy when I went. It's worth another shot, for sure.

So good!! The employees were so welcoming and nice, and even offered to let me sample a draft latte before committing to a new drink I’d never had before. The black & tan (draft latte / cold brew) was incredible and perfect for a hot day walking around the city. Looking forward to coming back often!

We live nearby and found this spot a few months ago. Awesome little place. Breakfast sandwich is excellent. Great service - extremely nice. This is our third visit. Highly recommend!!
