The Downtown Press Cafe

Better than average drink selection, waffles & paninis are good. Staff is awesome, Hal being the best of course! Only complaint is that their aren't many local farm products or produce available. Lots of options to make this place an amazing organic locally centered establishment. Great job Chris 😎

Food's great and the family that runs it is amazing. Even in the middle of a busy lunch shift they are extremely friendly and helpful.

Best coffee in town! Top of the line espresso machine ($$$) Lots of vegan friendly options on the menu including dairy-free cheese and oat milk, which are very hard to come by. Kid-friendly with a fun area for them to play. Great staff and great location!

The Press has the BEST sandwiches and wraps! I've tried everything on their menu and I can honestly say they never disappoint

New place in Farmington. I liked the decor and the sandwich was very good. They make their own lattice cut chips. Also good. Friendly staff. Nice alternative to Soup for You downtown.

However The Downtown Press may not run like your traditional restaurant, having to seat yourself and order at the counter gives The Press a casual feel and can be easily overlooked once you get your food. The service is phenomenal and the food is out of this world. I highly recommend The Downtown Press next time you find yourself in the area.

This place is like family. The entire staff is genuine and caring and the food is always amazing. They even take special care of my gluten free allergy!!! I have never ever been exposed accidentally here. GF SAFE 👍

Wait time for a lunch sandwich/coffee place was way too long. If you don't have a lot of time call it in or go somewhere else. Panini was good, not great based on the time it took to get it (25 minutes). Has huge black board behind counter but only the coffee menu. You have to look for the food menu which are in a pocket on the front of the counter... with a line of people blocking the view. Plenty of room on blackboard for at least an Express menu. I will try it again though but either call something in or go at an off time.

Cute spot, delish breakfast (try the wiscuit!) and the steak breakfast wrap was so good. The coffees were excellent as well. So happy we stopped here!
