BOARS HEAD! I shouldn't have to go any further than that. A high quality, clean deli with all Boar's Head products. Bread is local and soft and the sandwiches were a great treat after spending the summer inland without a deli. The butcher shop has amazing meat and the seafood looked super fresh as well. The store is spotless and well stocked with organics and local flavors. This little stop will become a regular of ours. As well as it shares the parking lot with a liquor store that is packed with local brews. No need to go anywhere else!

Great food. Great service. Clean

The store as a whole is good but the girls in the deli are far from professional . They’re always laughing around customers. On their phones and some of there outfits shouldn’t be warn. My wife and I were in the store last week and one of the girls behind the counter cutting us some meet the shirt she had on let’s just say you could see her whole belly!!!

Great meats, we stopped by every day to buy fresh food before going back to our Campground. The Italian sausage and Chorizo were really great. Nice selection of local products too. Definitely a place to stop by to buy food!

Best kept secret in Ellsworth!! The deli sandwiches are so good and they have fresh organic meat, local produce and Boars Head products.

Nice place, not sure if they are market or a place to eat. Bores Head product overrated.

Best store for at least 70 miles. This place is very good to its customers. Excellent products and amazingly friendly staff. The meats are the best ive ever had, and prices are reasonable! Go across the parking lot for a variety of quality beverages!

Bring your wallet. The butcher shop is amazing! The meat is fantastic quality. The rest of the inventory is upscale products my family generally doesn't go for, but the fancy people like them

They started out really great
Since they fired their original butcher things have gone to hell
I don't mind people enjoying their job but being ignored is not acceptable
That said I will be ordering meats from a reliable source here in Maine

Butchers are unfriendly and not willing to show you what they bring out from the back.
Also was ignored at checkout although there were few people in store.
I liked them in the early days of operation and found that butcher very friendly and helpful. I hope it will return to conditions of their early days?
