The flavors (and the sheer variety they offer) here are simply wonderful! I tried the pistachio and the chai and thoroughly enjoyed both. I was blown away by how huge the scoops were - they are generous! You truly get an amazing bang for your buck here both in quality and quantity. Worth the stop!

Oh my! We're staying close by at Shore Hills Campground and find ourselves at Blanchard's pretty regularly. Amazing homemade ice cream in a variety of flavors. We may just have to try them all! Highly recommend to satisfy your sweet tooth.

Everyone we talked to has said how good this place is. We had a different experience unfortunately. It wasn't that busy when we walked in so when it was our turn my wife ordered her ice cream, and the girl finished it and handed it to her then walked right past me and started helping people behind us in line. We had to ask if I could get an ice cream for her to return. I then said what I wanted in a medium and she got it and when I turned around I noticed my wife's was larger. The cashier said I got a mini and offered to fix it but after everything else we just paid and left. The ice cream was ok, but round top is better. I would give it one star but they did offer to fix the size issue.

Sad they were out of non-dairy & sugar-free the day we visited, as that was part of our reason for stopping. Ice cream treats were replaced with boutique coffee drinks, so it all worked out okay.

We had a very different experience than others here. We were excited after the reviews. But when we got there the kids were stood around and uninterested to serve. We wanted the vegan ice cream and it was all but out and he was scraping and scraping ice at the bottom and we asked for a fresh tub and another kid working there shouted not till it's all gone. But it was ice there was no ice cream left, so we were not going to pay for the state the ice cream was looking in so we told them not to bother and left. Very sad son.

If only this place had been open when my parents lived in Edgecomb! Wow. Creamy, delicious, homemade ice cream. Unusual flavors (try the Malted Vanilla!) This is the best ice cream I’ve found in mid-coast Maine. And I make a point of trying them!

The Dulce de Leche was amazing!!! And they have sugar free and dairy free options. Very good ice cream. Go for the "flight" it comes with three different scoops, each in its own little waffle bowl. Delicious!

AMAZING!! Wonderful ice cream, accommodating staff, extensive menu, and lovely location! This has to be my favorite ice cream in Maine. Rich but not TOO rich, great variety of flavors, tons of ways to enjoy your ice cream. Love that you can see where the ice cream is made, plus the very fun loft seating area!! This place is great!!
