Outstanding bakery cafè in every way! Coffee drinks are delicious - not too sweet and not over-roasted. The breakfast sandwich was exactly the way I asked (crispy bacon). And the scones were fluffy and tasty (not heavy or doughy).
I feel like it’s everyone’s favorite place. People came in with good cheer and greetings and the staff was welcoming and patient (when needed) with everyone.
SO worth finding if you are taking in the Bold Coast of Maine, even a great adventure from Bar Harbor (about 50 minutes away).
The Paisley Loon is a cute cafe with great food and service!
Ordered for take out the chicken salad wrap and pbj scone. It’s hard to tell from the photo, but the wrap is hefty! I ate half (with half a portion of ruffle chips) and was stuffed. Generous portion of protein for only $10
I’m a huge fan of pbj; I could eat it everyday! That’s why I managed to get a few bites of the scone while it was still warm - glad I did!
Delightful, intriguing, little (3 tables in winter) coffee and breakfast shop on the outskirts of the huge Wyman blueberry farm in Cherryfield, ME. Friendly service, friendly guests, excellent breakfast sandwich requiring about a hundred questions to be answered - plus a great blueberry buckle. It's a long way but I shall return. Fun.
I ordered the chicken salad wrap and the flavors were awesome together! Cranberries in it made it something special. My compliments to Stacy!! I had never been inside before..small but quaint and cozy. I enjoyed my visit
I stumbled upon this little gem of a bakery as I was exploring the Downeast coastal region of Maine. Situated on the scenic Narragaugus River in Cherryfield.
Friendly service, delicious, fresh food and coffee that was perfectly brewed.
As I waited for my food, each patron who walked in was greeted by the young girl behind the counter, perhaps the owner, with a friendly "good morning, (fill in their name)!" An obvious sign that regulars like this place as much as I do too!
Such a great little place. Good coffee, excellent sandwiches, and amazing pastries. We stopped there every day we were in the area. Staff were all very nice and it's just a generally charming place.
Very quaint place. Excellent coffee (espresso machine yay!) and the breakfast sandwich a definitely winner. We choose English muffins! The dogs even got a treat! All three of them. Staff friendly and beautiful atmosphere, inside and out (sitting in picnic tables by the river…
An adorable and chic little café, the Loon has delicious yet light sandwiches, and some of the best baked goods you can find in downeast Maine! Don't forget a t-shirt or trinket! The homemade caramel corn was perfect, as were our coffees, treats, and sandwiches :) I love this adorable mug I found there!
Looking at the menu, I had high hopes. They were exceeded! I had a large latte with an extra shot, a build your own egg sandwich, oatmeal, and a couple of baked goods for later. Everything was awesome. It's such a charming little store too. They also have a frequent buyer card for sandwiches and coffee. Reasonably priced, but especially so because of the quality of the food and coffee. Frankly, it's the best little spot like this in the area.
Wonderful coffee shop and bakery, with a lovely scenic location on the banks of the Narraguagus River, next to the bridge. Had delicious chicken wraps, and took home blueberry scones, which were both huge and delicious as well. We've added it to our short list of favorite spots in the area!
