Overhyped. The food is good but the three times I’ve been here the service was incredibly rude. All across the board from the bar to the server to the person who seated us. I have been a server for 15 years and I know people have bad days. But three for three in 4 years.... there’s really no excuse for that. We keep trying because everyone raves about it. But we are not the only people to experience this. We were very patient and polite, and made sure to dress up. Very pretentious and snooty. There are better options.

Great food served by smart people. Asked for tofu for a dish & they asked if I was vegan or vegetarian, as they’d make it differently!
Superb appetizer of pan fried garlic chive rice cake with bamboo shoots.
Entries of yellow noodles with roast pork & Pad Ke Mao we’re excellent!
All the noodles are homemade & superb!
Can’t wait to return & try more things-

This place is fantastic! Dinner take out was ordered at 2pm! Make sure to order early!!! Had the chicken kow soi dish (which is similar to a Malaysian laksa soup) and it’s sensational! Also had the Thai beef salad which is very tasty although the spice was a little grainy. But still ate it all. Definitely worth getting take out!

This place is a hole in the wall... peeling wallpaper, not even the name of the restaurant visible outside... but the food is AMAZING. We had the spicy chicken with Thai basil.. I had the noodles, the wife had the rice. They were very different but outstanding! The restaurant is *very* small... Reservations are a really good idea.

Amazing food - you wouldn't expect to find fantastic Thai/Asian food in Maine (at least I didn't), but was pleasantly surprised. Pork dumpling appetizers were delicious, and you can't go wrong with anything else on the menu either. You can tell the food is made from scratch using high-quality ingredients - yum! Quick tip we learned the hard way - call & make a reservation or you likely won't be able to get in :)

Super disappointed that we couldn’t get take-out here based on the fantastic-sounding menu and great reviews. Unfortunately, despite being “open” on Google and despite us calling at least 4 separate times (using both numbers listed on the website), no one ever answered the phone. After finally giving up and walking to another establishment, we saw other patrons walking out of Long Grain. I guess they didn’t want our business.

Very interesting unique flavors that highlight locally sourced seafood a d meats. Nice warm, modern atmosphere. I would go out of my way to come here again.

Excellent food here. Inventive and flavorful dishes. We came in on a busy Thursday night and waited about 10-15 minutes for a table. Can peruse the adjoining Asian market if you get bored while waiting. We had a daily special lamb curry dish (forgot exactly name), curry was flavorful, smoky, and a bit sweet (which you may or may not like, depending on your preference). Had the “street [chicken] wings which were average and on the small side, but were crispy and came with a delicious sauce. Ambiance was excellent and everything was clean and well-decorated. Will come again when visiting the Camden area.

The first attempt at take-out was unsuccessful, as they stop taking orders a full hour before closing. The second time was a success, in that I got my take-out, the chicken pad kee mao. However, after a 45 minute wait once placing my order over the phone (which I was informed of beforehand), I waited about 10 minutes before any member of staff even acknowledged my presence once entering their establishment. The person at the register was having a lengthy casual conversation rather than processing payments. Service seems to be quite complacent.
The food was good though, I'd give it 4 stars.
