Long Grain

Legitimately some of the best Thai food I’ve ever had. What an awesome surprise. We had the Kao Soi Gai and the Pad Seaw (with pork belly) and both were phenomenal. Will definitely be back!

Always delicious and overpriced But I love supporting restaurants so I’m happy to give them money. Sodium sensitive people beware...I am a pretty hearty restaurant goer, But the food here always leaves me puffy. In general I think they have a good takeout system, but I wish they would have a system of texts when your order is up because sometimes the food takes longer than they say and sometimes it’s quicker and it ends up being cold when you come and pick it up. The wide rice noodles are succulent.

I only do takeout because we are still in a pandemic. I had looked forward to Long Grain. The Pad Thai was ok. The larb was ok. But this was the only time I’ve ordered these dishes and received 1/3 full takeout containers. And $44! I traditionally get 3 meals out of 2 Thai takeout dishes. Not here! This made Long Grain, by far, the very most expensive Thai food I’ve eaten in 40 years of traveling.

Fabulous meal yesterday evening. Had 2 bar seat reservations. Seated immediately, staff was friendly and helpful. Don’t miss the Brussels sprouts appetizer — beyond excellent! Highly recommend.

Hands down the best food around, relaxing environment, and really friendly staff to top it off. It is the only place I will go around the midcoast on the rare occasion I eat out.

Pad thai is pretty straight forward but the pork belly pad thai here is a new experience. Full of flavor and textures that make it hard to eat it anywhere else. Another great choice is the spicy night market soup. My friend and I shared some for lunch and she ordered more to take home to Blue Hill. I have not had a bad experience with take out other than getting through to place the order for take out....just a sign of how busy they are.

Very good Pad Thai. Fresh ingredients. Very nice presentation. So good.
Even though the restaurant was very busy on this particular evening the staff was very attentive.
This very well could be a 5 star rating.

Great restaurant with vegan options. Wait staff very accommodating and attentive.
If you like Thai cuisine I would highly recommend.
