Finally a great sandwich! Very lean open face Reuben with plenty of meat. And a fantastic Pastrami & Swiss (add coleslaw)!!
Menu was loaded with smoothies and lattes and paninis. It was a little overwhelming, but I'm looking forward to returning and trying something new each time.
Plenty of desserts to take home ;)

This is a cute place for breakfast or lunch. There is outdoor seating too. Service was fast and friendly. Knowing that we were from out of town, our server gave us some recommendations for some great local things to do.

When we asked for sourdough toast, we still had a choice of white sourdough, multigrain sourdough, or rye sourdough. We were so happy to have these extra choices. The food and drinks were tasty. The women's bathroom was clean, not sure about the men's room.

They had food and drinks available for takeout.

Went there for breakfast. It was OK, but we were not impressed. The potatoes had too much seasoning (rosemary), the eggs benedicts with sausage gravy was not good. Atmosphere is nice and coffee was nice.

First time going for breakfast today and it was delicious!! The home fries were wonderful and were not greasy at all! The bacon was cooked to perfection without any grease. I had a breakfast burrito and it was very good. They definitely take pride in their service and it shows. A lovely lady came over and chatted with us that worked there and made us feel right at home. Good came out at a decent time also. I have no complaints, will go again.

Wow! This place is cute and the food was amazing! The staff was pleasant and the restrooms are clean! We aren’t in the area often, but this is somewhere we will stop again!

Belfast Maine is one of my favorite destinations in Maine. It's a beautiful town by the sea with many excellent restaurants, Bell the Cat being one of them. It's my go to spot for breakfast and lunch. Not only can you eat indoors now, but you can also utilize the drive up window or pick up your food from the pick up spots outside. It hosts a beautiful outdoor seating area, with herbs galore growing about the tables. What's better than the smell of fresh basil and mint! And....you can even have a mimosa or other alcoholic drink, what a plus for a Sunday brunch, or any other day for that matter! My favorite breakfast item so far is the Eggs Benedict. Eggs perfectly poached, muffin lightly toasted and delicious home fries. Who could ask for more. The menu is extensive and one would be hard pressed not to find anything to eat. Large vegetarian, kids, fresh baked goods and coffee choices. The staff was welcoming, and despite the busyness of the restaurant on this Sunday, food was delivered promptly. I will continue visiting Bell the Cat on every visit, and hope to try everything on the menu!!!

Bell the Cat is an incredible place to be. The workers take pride in their positions and make everyone feel like family. They effortlessly can put a smile on anyones face and their kind and comforting words bring light to someone who could be experiencing a bad day. The food is always so spectacular and very well put together. They always make hot sandwiches hot and the cold sandwiches have such a unique, yet delicious combination. The salads are beautiful, the drinks are on point and the baked goods make you feel like home. The owner is a spectacular man and his family makes you feel like you are a part of theirs. Jojo takes pride in his business. Customer service is always important to him. Bell has been such a blessing to me and my family and it’s because of the owner and his family, his employees and the services they provide! This is more than a 5 star experience. ❤️

I really liked this place! A lot of fresh, healthy items to choose from, which I love! I like the design on the inside, it's clean and simple. Food was very good, I just thought the hummus could use more flavor. Lentil soup was delicious!

I'm on a particular diet that doesn't include carbs, but all the breakfast meals include toast and fruit and hash browns or combinations of those. The manager was super helpful and let me substitute things to meet my needs with no issue. The prices were reasonable, and the food quality was very good. We will definitely be stopping in again next time we're passing through

I had an orchard chicken salad for the first time today! It was absolutely amazing! It was so yummy and I will definitely be ordering that again. I ordered online and it was ready for pick up through the drive-through, which was extremely easy and convenient.
