The Stadium, Bar Harbor

How this place doesn't have a line out the door is amazing to me. Easily one of the best lobster rolls I've ever had. Loved the twist they put on it having a toasted (what I think was challah) bun and brown butter aoli. The warm homemade cider with rum was also amazing as the temperature drops. If you want the best roll in Bar Harbor, for also the best price, look no further!

Just like anything can happen any day at the ballpark, leave your expectations at the door when you go to the Stadium. The ballpark concession stand aesthetic fronts a flavor and ingredient driven take on Maine classics. Don't expect your typical tourist lobby roll. Stadium pays homage to the traditions, but takes them to new wonderful places.

The "lobster stew" tracks more like a bisque and that's a good thing. It is velvety, buttery and rich, with hints of saffron and half a pound of chopped lobster hiding in the bottom.

The lobster roll is a lobster sandwich. DON'T LET THAT THROW YOU! Everywhere does a lobby roll in Bar Harbor. The city council might as well hand one to you as you drive over the bridge. The Stadium throws a curve by picking a whole lobster, butter poaching it, and puts it warm on a griddled potato bun with a smear of mayo and drizzle of lemon. It is decadent, filling, and wonderful. A pile of air fried chips and side of slaw provided some perfect texture balance.

Finally the most traditional dish we had was blueberry pie a la mode. Sweet with just enough tart, a perfect crust, and cooling vanilla creaminess to balance.

All this wonderful food with some of the best customer service I've ever encountered means this should be a stop for any Bar Harbor vacation. The Stadium hits it out of the park on every level.

Just came here for coffee, but enjoyed the service and food! The atmosphere when you walk in is very positive and the staff is very sweet! The menu has a ton of options and the pastries and baked goods look delicious. Prices are reasonable for what coffee cost these days. I got the cold brew coffee with oat milk which was nice and strong. We also got the lemon blueberry scones which were huge and had a ton of blueberries, but needed more lemon.

My wife and I had a chance to dine here while on a family vacation. We tried four or five different items from the menu and they were all outstanding. The blueberry donuts are a must try. The best we’ve ever had. We even brought extra to bring home.

Simply outstanding!

The breakfast sandwich is a massive & tasty egg-burger! Even bigger than the grand slam burrito (about average).

Blueberry lemon scones!! Yes, a must have!

The breakfast sandwiches are hefty and keep you full all day which was great when you are hiking for hours. Everything was delicious.

Only complaint is you have to take it to go. There's no indoor seating, so we ate in the car. But well worth it!

Very friendly staff food was delicious and it wasn't packed like everywhere else. I'm happy we stop here and would recommend to anyone.

We got a popover, which came with butter and blueberry jam. First, the popover was burnt (see pic), which left an unpleasant aftertaste. Second, the blueberry jam had an overwhelming cinnamon taste, which unfortunately overpowered the blueberries themselves. Finally, the butter was tasteless. In conclusion, we were disappointed.

Picked up a surprise basket of goodies ordered from our son & daughter-in-law in Alaska with a card to let us know they are expecting!!!!! This shop did a fabulous job coordinating all “blue” treats. Blueberry donuts, pie, scones, also cinnamon rolls and whoopie pies! Everything was/is so delicious. They also added a special puffin ornament with a blue ribbon, (it’s a boy!) What a special, yummy surprise it was! Thank you :)

Best coffee place in town. The blueberry donut was phenomenal as well. Staff is super friendly and outgoing. ❤️ I’ll be stopping here everyday.
