The Coffee Pot Sandwich Shop

Not the original by far, but still an ok sandwich shop. Bread seems crustier and not as soft. Taste is off just a little. If you're expecting the original, you'll be disappointed, but you can still get and average to good sandwich there. Burnams in Old Town is closer to the original.

Wow its a unique sub that is sooo much better then subway or any other chain deli place. These subs are flavored without needing mayo or mustard just red pepper oil and salt giving them an awesome taste and much better for you. They pack on the vegitables really showcasing the nature flavor of the onions green pepper and tomato.

The Coffee Pot is a revival of a classic place with decades of history in Bangor, serving up a unique style of sandwiches that I haven't seen replicated in any other place. Having lived away from Bangor for nearly two decades, finding the Coffee Pot reopened under new staff and management was a highlight of my recent trip home. Great sandwiches, decent prices, and the kind of unique food experience that any city would be proud to call its own.

This place is wonderful! They have gluten free buns as an option, and they ask if you are celiac. If so, they change gloves so as to not cross contaminate. And the sandwiches are great!!!

Sandwich shop that serves Italians. A regular coffee pot comes with ham, salami, american cheese, tomato's, heavier onions, green peppers, red pepper flakes, pickles, salt and oil.
You can also get different meats or vegetarian style. Lovely employees. A really great place to have lunch!
