Another Broken Egg Cafe

It was so close to a 5! The only thing that brought this amazing brunch spot to a 4 was the time it took to bring out the food. The service was amazing, the food was great, and the prices were typical for brunch!

The beignets are really good. They are more of a biscuit consistency than the traditional donut style. The shrimp and grits are excellent and very filling. I would recommend substituting the regular grits for city grits.

It’s the consistency for me. Every time we come here, it gives what it is supposed to give, honey. We ordered iced vanilla lattes, cinnamon roll french toast, the big easy scrambler (sub crawfish for shrimp), and finished off with mango-kiwi mimosas. DELICIOUS!

Worst pancakes I have ever had and kitchen made mistake with order. I was happy with service and manager's response to my complaint.

Wait time is a little slower 🐌 than I recall (this is my third/fourth visit).
We asked for take out containers for what we thought would be leftovers. It was the remains of the salad, three fried green tomatoes, and a half of the crab cake. By the time we got the containers, the salad was mostly gone to less than half, no more crab cake, and two slices of the tomatoes were left.
Always a positive outcome from my perspective.

Such a good brunch place if you're visiting Shreveport. I've been here previously and had a great experience, and my experience was great today! I got the Mardi Gras Omelette and it was delicious, I loved the potatoes on the side too! My server was Natalie (I think) and she was wonderful. Would definitely go here again.

Went for an anniversary brunch waited an hour only to be told that we were 4th in line. I called an hour later to figure out why we hadnt been seated in the 2 hours we were waiting and their response was " someone else must have taken you reservation" no recourse was given for the 2 hours wasted

Consistently tasty breakfast and brunch options any day of the week. There are so many delicious dishes and beverages to choose from. There's something for everyone and the staff are really great about special orders and requests. For instance, this picture is crab cake benedict with bacon we crumbled onto the entree. This place is a great choice for out of town visitors, groups, and families. Truly have not had a bad item or experience, and come here frequently.
