Revelator Coffee Company

Spied this shop from our hotel room our first morning and knew it'd be good.
Did not disappoint. Single-origin pour-over coffees and expertly prepared lattes brought us joy. The interior is clean, modern and very attractive. Service was excellent. Come early for a spot on the front patio.

Chill place, great pulled shot of espresso and extremely friendly. Thanks to Kenny and team for going out of their way for the welcome. Hoping y’all get lots of specialty coffee people this week!

Bold, yet Amazingly smooth pour-over coffee….you’ll never want it prepared any other way…nice atmosphere, friendly staff, simple, to the point menu. Will always come here when visiting!

Very frieny and cosy place with amazing coffee. I had pour over (Ethiopian). Very smooth and os much flavor. Staff is friendly and knowledgeable. Definitely will go back.

Nice service and atmosphere. Espresso was over-extracted and bitter. Perhaps it's typically better as this was only one drink.

Loved this cafe when I was in New Orleans for a conference. You could tell that the staff were passionate about their craft and enjoyed their time together, and with customers. Fantastic coffee and atmosphere. I didn't think New Orleans would compete with the espresso based cultures of NYC, Chicago, and St. Louis yet it stood toe to toe with some of the best speciality coffee I've had across the eastern US. Highly recommend Revelator Coffee --I wish I could walk here every morning back at home.

The coffee is excellent, pastries are all on point, service is outstanding and the location is great. Wish they had power outlets readily available for long stays but nothing worth docking a star over.

Very fun and friendly coffee shop. Also my cappuccino and pastry was delicious.

So after going to a coffee shop with no coffee, I decided to give this location a try. Unfortunately the coffee machine was down. However the kind hostes offered a drip coffee. I told her I never had it before and asked if it would taste the same? She said it would. I asked if they had decaffeinated coffee. She said yes. I asked if I could get the Latee art or a symbol with the milk. She said yes. The last thing I asked for was if they had a vanilla shot available. She said yes. Watching the coffee slow drip was interesting. Meanwhile there was a short man in the back cusing at the broken machine. I shrugged it off as I would be mad too if my top earner was down. I was looking foward to the art. When the hostess brought it to me without any art I asked if they could add it. The same man who was in the back yelling proceeded to cuss at me and said he did not have time for that. I told him that's what I asked for when I paid for the coffee. He proceeded to cuss and muttered something. The hostesses cut him off and offered to get me a refund. Then he began to storm back to take his anger out on the machine. I feel bad for her having to put up with a coworker like that. He is clearly not a professional who cares about the business image.
