One of those fun, fancy modern coffee places. They do pour overs and have a good salt section of flavor shots. Visited twice while we were there for vacation and the same two gentlemen were working both times one was friendly and apologetic when the wait was over 15 minutes and the other did not acknowledge me. Can’t blame him though as there was a huge rush around the time they closed.

It's a nice local place for a quick stop, but they have ways to go to 5 star coffee. Starbucks taste, B- for the art.

So this place claims that organic oat milk is more expensive than organic cow milk. Sounds like the owners may need accounting 101. If you are charging your customers an additional dollar for an equivalent or less expensive milk than you're already on the losing side. We too grocery shop, we know what milk costs. Get it together.

Went with coffee snobs and they indicated their selections were excellent. I enjoyed the atmosphere for visiting and the baristas were positive and friendly!

Have you ever had a great cup of coffee?
I mean a REALLY GREAT CUP OF COFFEE, that makes you close your eyes and take a deep breath and think -
"Wow... now this... this is coffee."
Revelator's coffee is DEFINITELY THAT GREAT CUP OF COFFEE!
Go to Revelator. You won't regret it!
Great atmosphere. Cool baristas. Clean/safe environment.
As someone checking out coffee shops around Nola, there's a reason Revelator is the first (and possibly only) place I'm writing a review for.
It's because Revelator is GREAT!

Great local coffee shop. I had their cold brew and ended up buying a few bags of beans because it was so good.

Came to study here and ordered a 16oz latte. I liked that they match the amount of espresso to the size of the cup. Gave me the kick I needed.

The best espresso in New Orleans! Roasted perfectly and great service !

One of the worst customer service experiences I’ve had in New Orleans. I was the only person in the cafe, but was still rudely rushed through my order, to the point that I thought I had made a mistake and come in after they were closed. After this interaction, I decided not to leave a tip. After taking my order, the cashier walked up to the barista and told them my order and that I hadn’t tipped. The barista sarcastically said “Well thanks, good thing I don’t have bills to pay.” The coffee itself was good, but there were very limited options for milk (oat or whole) and flavors.

We walked in and only saw almond milk for a substitute. We commented that we wanted to go somewhere else (as we have nut and dairy allergies). The lady working the counter sassily said we have other milk. We did end up ordering, although they did not have skim milk either. The coffee was a bit bitter. Cold brew was very bitter. Hot chocolate was good (nice cocoa flavor).
