Took my mom there and we ordered a large variety of breakfast items, omg everything was awesome. Staff was courteous, food and coffee served hot and prompt. Can't wait to come back!!!

The food is great and so are the drinks. It has a nice atmosphere and great staff. Sadly, they have cut back on hours and the food is too expensive. I understand that healthy food is generally expensive but a sandwhich alone shouldn't cost 8.95. You spend almost 20 bucks for JUST a drink and a sandwhich. Great if you've got the money. Not so great for college students.

The manager Chris screamed at me one time because I came in saying my order was wrong. I was nice to him too. I would give less than one star rating if I could.

Perks is a cute coffee shop and cafe. This was my first visit. I got a hot chai tea and a shortbread cookie with a dollop of chocolate (turtle). The tea was excellent as was the cookie. They have a nice menu which I will try another time.

We love Perks! The food is delicious and the staff is always friendly. My favorite items are the Low Carb bowl and the Skinny Granita 💗

Went through drive to pick up my waiter order, added a honeysuckle latte at the speaker. The staff didn't miss a beat and the guy at the window was super friendly. Was surprised by 2 dollar Tuesday and got a coupon for bogo monday. Definitely going to come back.

Great new local café in North Metairie! Perks has coffee, breakfast food, and lunch fare in a nice comfortable neighborhood atmosphere.
Highly recommend the breakfast croissant sandwich. I ordered mine with bacon egg and cheese. The sandwich was toasted on a sandwich press and came out nice and warm with the buttery croissant, melted cheese and plenty of eggs and bacon. It was a great large portioned sandwich unlike many of the small breakfast sandwiches out there.
My favorite surprise was the Kolache. This was not a normal small, get one on the side, sort of kolache. The smoked sausage was baked into a huge fluffy roll and topped with cheese. It was best eaten with a fork and knife. I don't think I've ever had a kolache that was a meal itself.
Tried the coffee, it's a New Orleans type strong black coffee with a hint of chicory. If you're expecting a light breakfast blend of coffee this is not it. Not sure if they offer an additional drip coffee, I was not offered anything else. But I thought it was a good strong coffee, not bitter at all.
The restaurant itself is very nicely decorated inside. The remodel of the previous space was done very well with alot of attention to detail. There's plenty of indoor seating at and a few small tables outside. There's a drive thru you can pull into off Clearview. The only reason I don't give it five stars is the parking. There's about six awkward spots located behind and on the side of the restaurant. And unfortunately along Fairfield there's little additional street parking because of how the driveways are arranged. Maybe they'll get another business to share parking in the future? **hint hint**
Highly recommend supporting this local business! Great food, calm wonderful atmosphere, and beautiful reuse of a previously ugly building.

I like getting the Breakfast Sandwich. The sausage, egg and cheddar is really good. You can get it on an English muffin or a biscuit. A very tasty little breakfast meal!
