I love you guys...both locations are fantastic and 5 star worthy. The staff is friendly and the food is delicious, and healthy! One of our favorite places to get coffee on a Sunday morning too!

Located in the Pontchartrain Square Shopping center, Coffee Rani has good food at reasonable prices.
I always thought it was only a coffee shop, but was pleased to learn it has an extensive menu. After trying it last week, I enjoyed it so much that I came back the next day and several more times since.
On my first visit, I dined in. I was not a fan of the way the dining area was set up. While there were some booths, many of the tables were set very close together. I dislike restaurants that do that because it makes having private conversations difficult. Some of the tables also were right next to the area where people ordered or waited in line. Sitting there when there was a line would be a tad awkward.
Despite my issues with the dining area, the food has always been very good. The salads are the best I've had on the Northshore. Portions are large enough for a meal, and the ingredients have always been fresh and of high quality.
On my first visit, I stayed in my comfort zone and ordered a club salad. On later visits, I decided to trust their salad making expertise and I ordered the Jamacian Jerk salad. Who would have ever imagined a chicken salad with olives, grapes and apples could be so good? I sure didn't, but it was great. I guess the point that I am trying to make is that, the food here is very good. Even if you aren't sure about the listed ingredients, trust that they know what they're doing.
In closing, go to Coffee Rani and you'll enjoy it. Order to-go, and you'll enjoy it even more.

Consistent healthy and thoughtful options make this a rare treat on the Northshore. Fresh salads, house made soups, and incredible brunch options are all on offer. The desserts are the perfect for satisfying any sweet tooth.

Great food, but a bit on the pricey side. Good selection and they have gluten-free and keto items.

I gave 4 stars only bc of its parking availability is out of this world frustrating. It's everyone's go to place for lunch particularly and it's a fight just to get a spot to park . Very face paced, crowded but not overwhelming for me .Food is delish , staff is welcoming and fairly priced I believe .
They have two locations and both are booming in business . I've never had a bad experience, nice place overall !

Seriously. Apple brie bacon fig jam eggs over, all on a toasted croissant. Yes please. Came to get my hair done at salon next door and found this glorious spot. Be back tomorrow.

Always love this place, except when it’s packed and there are no seats to sit in. The atmosphere is wonderful (most of the time) and when it’s not it’s just because of their employees being busy which is understandable. I always get the Odyssey Chicken sandwich and sometimes their Caesar salad, but recently I’ve noticed the chicken has been tough to bite into and chew

Rani isn't just a local institution... it's one of the most pleasant places to visit you'll ever experience. Go there for the food, you won't be disappointed, but don't be surprised if you fall in love the friendliest staff you'll ever want to find.
