This is quaint little slice of heaven with a drop of New Orleans vibes... When you walk in the music, the staff, the food, the beignets, the beignets ya'll! The food, the food! Be prepared to not being able to finish it. It's on the busy side, so go during less rush hour.. and there might be a wait.. but the food is good! So don't expect Starbucks service now... This food slaps and per my teenage it's bussin'!

If you are in the area stop in!!! This is such a quaint spot that serves breakfast and lunch all day. 😁

I ordered the Carmel macchiato, chicken and waffles the king cake beignets the cowboy bowl and side of grits with cheese.

The king cake beignets were so delectable I could have eaten 12 not really but you get the point 😂

The chicken and waffles was amazeballs. The chicken was seasoned and the bacon was nice and thick. The waffles were great and I’m a pancake person.

The cowboy bowl was served with an enormous plate of potatoes that were seasoned to perfection. The only thing I would suggest is serving it with 4 pieces of bacon instead of 2 🤪

Now the GRITS!!! Let me just say as a lover of grits these grits are special there is something very uniquely different but good. They didn’t have that normal “grit” texture. They were soft not creamy but soft and delicate. We sat and tried to figure it out and even asked the staff to ask the kitchen but it’s a “kitchen secret” I ain’t even mad at it.

The atmosphere was super nice and welcoming. Hoping y’all get to Houston to soon as we were told other coffee:30 are coming to the surrounding area. Y’all are lucky here in Lake Charles.

10 out of 10 I would recommend and come back!

Edit…I forgot…they also will grind the coffee beans to your specifications if requested for their in house coffee they sale. 🥰🥰

Picky last review said picky, well so am I… My Dad was a Master Chef from Germany, I’m German Love my Frappe and Strong. Well, I won’t explain details about how I ask for my specific frappe with 8 shots of Espresso… and No Drizzle… but let me go on. I ordered the $20 Cali Club extra bacon blah blah sandwich and like I said Dad Was A Master Chef, so I won’t say my part because for around here it was 4-5 stars no doubt. But I asked to speak to a Manager and NO NO a manager did not come out !!! Wait !!! The Owner/ Manager/ Laboror Absolutely very respectful Josh Owner came out and addressed this problem, Not only remade my sandwich but did it Fantastic….SO I then tipped $20 bucks to all who had to deal with Me… Well God Bless there little souls… especially the Baristas…. So to end this….
I HIGHLY RECOMMEND Coffee 30. Not only will this buisness be bless but all his other buisness as well. I pray that for Josh and all his employees be blessed. Best Customer Service I’ve had in 14 years of being in LA, and I’m a Hard *** Contractor… that was All Out !!! May they Prosper in all the do. Shalom And God Bless

Why Why YOU GET WHAT YOU PAY FOR

Definitely 4.5 stars. This coffee shop reminded me heavily of the New Orleans French quarter. I tried their French toast, with whipped cream and strawberry sauce. It was delightful! Very light and fluffy. Love the colors of shop it's very serene. Everyone one was friendly. I can definitely see enjoying the outside space in fall/spring, winter when it's 70 degrees. Inside is limited on space. There were many sugar free options for coffee which is lovely, as well as smoothies and tea. I found the latte to be a little weak. I think next time I will opt for a smoothie or tea.

I’m giving it 4 stars due to the underwhelming amount of presentation and flavor. Let’s start with the beignets. This can all come down to personal preference of course, but I was hoping for lighter, fluffier beignets like they have pictured. These were on the smaller end, and much more dense. They come with your choice of topping, which I like that idea. Next is the cowboy hash-browns. Nothing exciting here, just eggs over hash with some bacon. I was hoping for more of a punch of flavor, but it needed seasoning. Then there’s the avocado toast. Can’t go wrong with a good avocado toast, and they even serve an egg over easy on top. It had all the flavor I was looking for. Red pepper flakes, olive oil, cracked pepper, and salt. It was delish, but definitely could have had a little more avocado on it (just my preference). On to the coffee. My husband ordered the Affogato and it was incredible. Their espresso is rich, and full bodied. We’re really big on our espresso at home so we can appreciate a place that serves top quality espresso. I ordered a cafe au Lait, and it was just okay. It was more like a weak brewed coffee instead of a strong brew or espresso. Maybe I was just jealous of my husbands coffee but again, I was just hoping for more. We will definitely be back to try something else, and hopefully change my mind.

A little crowded but the food was decent. I’m not sure if it was entirely worth the price but we were hungry. An omelette, a chicken salad sandwich and two coffee drinks came to $40.
Hint: Do not get up to go to the restroom until you are finished with everything as they will assume you’ve left and take your items.

This place is an absolute must whenever I am in Lake Charles. The customer service is a 10/10 and the food and coffee never disappoint. Their lattes are delish and the beignets are perfect. Also best waffles I’ve ever had. Come here!!

This is one of the best coffee shops in Lake Charles! The coffee is perfect and the food is delicious. I also love how the baristas are super friendly and will give recommendations and accommodations as needed. Every time I have come, the staff has made my day. 10/10 would recommend for any coffee enthusiast.

Food here was delicious; coffee was fresh and hot; atmosphere comfortable; and customer service was excellent! Great place to relax and eat. Enjoyed it!
