My spouse loves this place but the counter service is horrendous. I watch my blood sugar and avoid carbs, yet there are some items I can have. I normally make my own coffee with HEAVY CREAM but the do not have drip coffee this morning. My mistake that I was persuaded to order a cappuccino and GAVE SPECIFIC INSTRUCTIONS for HEAVY CREAM INSTEAD of milk. Of course they used MILK and SUGAR rather than artificial sweetener.
NOT COMING BACK HERE. BAD SERVICE!!!
Update: we were given a gift card by the manager for poor service. One instance we came and my father in law waited for his food -they sent out after 15 minutes after everyone’s done eating. The manager gave us a gift card for the inconvenience. Guess what it was empty. We came to use it today! What a scam.

I love la Madeleine! Their tomato basil soup is outstanding! Very attentive staff. My only regret is that I don't have one near my hometown! I highly recommend you try it!

We had sandwhichs, salad and soup delivered with avocado by Grubhub. The food was so good, the bread was still crispy not soggy and the soup was still hot.

It's ok. I find that the food across the street at the Mandeville Louisiana born restaurant is much much better. Prices are about the same as well. I'd ship this place if you are visiting the area and go for some Cajun breakfast. Gastronomically it's not really all that flavorful either.

Went to pick up a door dash and they didn't even know about the order and then preceded to take there sweet time making it and had me waiting almost 20 minutes I lost out on multiple dashes because of this and lost money

I have the biggest soft spot for this restaurant. It’s cozy yet sophisticated space and Devine food selection that makes you know you’re near river ranch, if you know what I mean. High scale and luxury but at a price point we can all be amazed to see.

Food was cold and nasty been sick all day😩😵... I ordered French Onion Soup, It was Cold and nasty,the cheese wasn't melted the bread was stale. Also ordered half French dip,,, cold Nasty. Why are u putting horseradish sauce on a French dip the odds you was watery no flavor and cold the cheese was not melted on my French dip either. So I ended up dipping my French dip in My onion soup that's the only way to make it taste halfway decent but then I was burping it up all day and throwing up. The only thing I can say was that the lady at the register what's a sweetheart the guy who helped us or brought our food out I told my sister not to tip him if he would have asked if everything was okay or checked on us maybe my experience would have been better then I could have, had my soup and sandwiche heated up. Maybe if the young lady at the cash register to do everybody's job the place would be a lot nicer and I might want to visit it again I think she deserves a raise....

Everything is delicious! I usually get their signature dishes. Medium prices. I especially like the fireplace in the middle of the store. It's a quiet cozy atmosphere.

Love the sandwiches and entrees. Turkey Bistro, soups, Quich, Sea Salt bagets and Chicken la Madeleine are 5 star. A favorite was the Eggs Benedict with poached eggs. Now the eggs are fried. Don't bother. Need a better selection of salad dressing. If you ask for blue cheese, you get crumbled blue cheese on your salad. Suggest the fresh fruit cup be ripe seasonal fruit. Honey Dew melon that is hard and tasteless should not be served- (11 Aug 2020).
THE NEGATIVE POSTED HERE CAN BE OVERCOME. JUST DON'T GET THOSE ITEMS AND YOU WILL LOVE IT!
