I Tried The Madeline for The first time and wasn't impressed I ordered the French Dip sandwich cause I like roast beef it would've been better if they'd offer you a choice of cheese and different types of Bread

My most recent visit to la Madeleine (first time in a year or two) was met with outstanding service and food. I guess my first visit was a little underwhelming, so I wasn't eager to go back. I guess I should have gone back again sooner because it was a really good time. Everything was fresh overall, though the chicken left a little to be desired. Perhaps some char or more seasoning. Other than that small note, it was a really great meal. I will be visiting again soon.

The food was delicious, however they were out of several things. The girl taking our order rang up the wrong coffee. I finished eating all of my food and still had not received my coffee. I had to stand at the coffee bar and ask them to make it a 3rd time since I ordered an ice coffee and they kept marking hot lattes. It was supposedly vanilla but I watched her push the vanilla pump from an empty bottle for my cup…. Needless to say the coffee tasted awful!

Drove an hour and half to go eat at this place. Cute outside. Food looks delicious but didn’t even get to eat anything. The workers were SO RUDE. My boyfriend had asked a question about something on the menu and the guys response was “Huh, what kind of question is that?”. I asked him what’s his favorite thing on the menu and he looked at me stupid. A lady came over and said “Your mask, where is it?” I said “Yes ma’am I don’t have one do y’all have one I can use?” And again, looked at me stupid. We put the menus up and walked out! We were really looking forward to eating there but not when the service is that bad. If they got some friendlier people to work there and be inviting, it would be a great atmosphere:)

Being so hungry and looking forward for some breakfast, i ordered a Strawberries Romanoff Cinammon Bun French Toast. 10 minutes past by and they get my wife her food and was prompted that mine is coming just right out. It was the moment that I saw the family behind us getting all of their food which made me question where is mine? 20 minutes go by and Im still being very patient as my wife tells me they probably are still making the order, still I remain waiting. It was when half an HOUR goes by where I couldn’t take this no more and come to find out that they FORGOT TO BRING IT OUT. The staff was nice but the service was really terrible, this is my first time in La Madeline and it’s been a terrible experience. Im not even being a Karen but 30 minutes for a small plate is ridiculous. Don’t recommend it to anyone no 🧢

It's like... Fast casual french bistro/patisserie. I feel like I'd be pressed to find a menu item that is fresh or made from scratch and that most items could be found at the grocery store for a better price at equal quality. The place looks nice and the food is tasty, but insanely boring and obviously prefabricated. It's just... Okay I guess. 🤷♀️

I love the atmosphere here. The seating is varied, half booth, table, bar table - cozy and tucked away to right in the middle, there is plenty of room. The food is very good, though a little more pricey. I especially like the tomato soup and the fresh bread with a coffee. Their pastries are really good, too. Last, but not least, I think the employees are wonderful. They go to great lengths to make sure you enjoy your experience. Don't forget to get the app for free pastries and discounts.

Tonight I ate the most AMAZING chicken pesto. It was to die for. The bread was delicious as well. And the potato soup was great too. The chocolate tart was good also. First time eating here but won't be my last. Definitely is on my top list and will be returning.
