Fat Spoon Cafe

This place must be a well kept secret because there were only 6 people here at 8 am. I had the Eggs Florentine with bacon and biscuit. Everything was cooked perfectly! Moderately priced and worth every penny. The service is excellent! The food is delicious!

Food was wonderful. This was the first time for me at Fat Spoon. What I did notice was the waitresses congregated together and had a talk session. I think they need to pay more attention to their guest. Chit chat doesn't increase your tips giving your best service does. When you have to ask for more coffee when you have ordered it that's a problem.

First time trying the Fat Spoon. I got the Fat Spoon Burger and it was very good. The fries were cooked perfectly. The staff was very friendly on the phone and in person when I picked up my order. Coworkers got the Cuban, the chicken salad sandwich and the grilled fish sandwich. All of them said their meals were fantastic.

Today was my first visit to Fat Spoon. I was born and raised in NOLA. I have been living in TX for the past 20 years, and just moved to the NorthShore a few months ago. I have missed LA food so much while living in TX. While I have visited a few restaurants on the North Shore, and so far have not been impressed.....the food here was fabulous! I had the Eggs Sardou, which was very flavorful. The biscuits are the best homemade I have eaten in a restaurant. The staff were extremely hard working, attentive and friendly. Our waitress, Joanna was superb! I definitely have to come back and try many more items on the menu.

The food was just absolutely wonderful! The crowded parking lot and the wait made me even more excited about trying the food. The wait is worth it if you go at a busy time. Great service with a smile and awesome food makes for a great dining experience. You won't regret your choice to eat here!

Awesome little homey place to grab a breakfast.

Great breakfast. Lasted for 2 meals

Slow service ,food was not up to par, la spoon, the eggs were not cooked properly watery and runny, the grits was loaded down with salt, the potatoes was greasy. They must have a new cook that's needs some practice.

This is so good! Just like home cooking! Crazy variety of food that can please the entire family! Seriously, gumbo, omlettes, hamburgers, fried shrimp, egg rolls! You will love this place and the service is very good too!

The 190 location is our favorite. Family atmosphere, we got often. Big cheese omelet for my husband.
