French Press Coffeehouse of Chalmette

I ordered in the drive thru and the attendant got my order right, asked if I wanted customization, and was quick. The taste was phenomenal and would absolutely recommend. Even their regular iced coffee is super tasty. Highly highly recommend. Would take these folks over any of the chains any day!

They do have good coffee, however the cashier has a hard time hearing me at the drive through. So insitead, the other day I went inside to order a breakfast sandwich- bacon egg cheese on a croissant. The croissant was burnt, the one piece of bacon cut in half long ways was the sorriest tiniest piece of bacon Ive ever seen. Was the worst breakfast sandwich I've ever had. However the Turkey Avacado sandwich was very good, which I had the week before. I didnt particularly feel anyway about the cashiers. They saw me looking and reading the menu and asked me if I was ready to order. I was the only one there. I just assume if Im reading the menu, no im not ready yet. I first ordered a coffee, then asked for her to explain the menu, "can you tell me about the pesto sandwich? " to which she replied, "you want two?". So i assumed she wasn't listening since the words aren't even remotely close (I was inside for this order and standing right in front of her). Was disappointed on that visit

I visited French Press today for the first time after a long week. Ordered my latte (which was amazing BTW); I got to the window to pay only to be told by the barista that it was their holiday gift to me. She then wished me a Merry Christmas. They now have a frequent customer in me! Kudos on your generosity to the people here!

Just bought a southern pecan. The girls there tonight had such great customer service. will definitely be going there again.

My car broke down right in front of this coffee house. I had to pull off of West Judge Perez into the parking lot to the west of French press. I had never been there before, but I had about a half hour wait in front of me until I would have some assistance with my vehicle. I needed to use the restroom, but I didn't want to be one of those freeloaders to just go into businesses and use their restrooms, so I ordered a diet Coke. The young ladies were nice enough to offer me a cup of ice, which was absolutely great because it was hot and humid outside.

I noticed that the coffee house was absolutely immaculate. I had never seen such a clean establishment, especially around here. As I was waiting in the parking lot, in sight of the drive-thru window, one of the young ladies called out to me to ask if I'd like a muffin. That was so nice of them. A refreshing reminder of humanity.

I am very much looking forward to patronizing this business in the future. I wouldn't mind having a couple of their iced coffees why lie have some time to myself to get some computer work done while I enjoy them.

Service can be slow but they take their time making your drink correctly and the kids are friendly. A refreshing spot in a convenient area when I don't feel like driving to Arabi Coffee house or down the road to PJ's (which is entirely too sweet compared to French Press frozen)

Of course French Press Coffeehouse has great coffee ☕ They also have delicious pastries, sandwiches abd salads. They are the only place I will get a Grilled Chicken Caesar Salad. It is ALWAYS super fresh.

For a star bucks knock off not bad cake pops and all no issues with drinks but there slower then a 7 year nut talking ect lack of management

The iced coffee is trash! If I could leave less stars I would. Customer service also sucks. Would not recommend. Coffee is so bad makes you want to dispute a $3 charge with my bank.

I’m still upset. Like how you f up coffee and my morning.

It’s convenient to my house and business. It’s a great place to meet and greet. The food is fabulous
