Les Amis Bake Shoppe

I’ve tasted a few macrons but never have I tasted one that were so good. These are a must try. I’m sure you will love them as much as we do. 🥰

Ordered the Chantilly cake for my Mama’s birthday. The cake was perfect. I was simple yet stunning, the cake itself was delicious. It wasn’t too sweet, the berries were very fresh, everyone raved about it. The icing was perfect, not overbearing. It was exactly what I wanted. Have many more events coming up that I will need cakes for, found my new “go to”! I highly recommend. WAY better than the Whole Foods Chantilly cake

Despite hearing many great things about Les Amis Bake Shoppe, I can't recommend this bake shop. Went on a Monday to select birthday treats. Most bakeries in BR are not open on Mondays, unfortunately, so this was my only option in the area. Picked out 4 mini cupcakes, which totaled $9+. Yeesh! Cupcakes were so disappointing. Cake was dry, frosting gritty. Only difference between flavors was what was drizzled or added to top of the frosting. I will not be back.

Selection was also underwhelming. No regular sized cupcakes were available. The macarons were limited flavors. Just...not what I was expecting when visiting a bakery. A bakery should tantalize the shopper, not feel like "umm....I guess I'll just get this thing..."

Lastly, the look of the shop did not wow me. It feel very hodge podge and lacking an overall aesthetic. I understand that a bakery is not the same as a restaurant, but a "look" and style would go a long ways here.

I ordered a carrot cake from this shop. The cake was delicious, the best I’ve ever had, very moist; however, I guess I expected a cream cheese icing. It was a cream cheese icing but you could barely taste the cream cheese in the icing: it was way too sweet! I will get this cake again, but ask for them to tweak the icing a bit.

2nd time visiting the shop but definitely not my last. So happy to have such a wonderful bakery to bring my kiddos to enjoy a sweet treat. The sweets are incredibly good but the fact that the shop is extremely clean and has the friendliest employees is what makes me want to return again. 10/10 recommend!

Bridal shower cake was expensive, but wasn’t fresh. We also stopped getting their mini-cupcakes because they weren’t fresh either. I forgot to pick up a holiday cheesecake, and no one even bothered to call me about it.

The lavender macaroons we ordered were delicious. The 3 dozen cupcakes we ordered (all different flavors) were dry and tasted stale. Way too over priced for the quality we got. Highly disappointed I spent so much money on a custom order that tasted so bad. I should not have had leftover cupcakes at a kids party.

Ordered my daughter's graduation cake from Les Amis and I was saddened and disappointed . My daughter wanted their dark chocolate salted caramel cake which is supposed to be their signature cake so that's what I ordered .The cake was pretty but when we finally cut it after dinner we realized there was no salted caramel. The center of the cake was this extremely thick frosting that tasted like nothing .There seemed to be few spots of this light brownish drizzle is a few parts of the center. I've ordered from her before and was so excited to get my daughter's great accomplishment cake from there. Never again. The cake itself was ok but the chocolate icing was way too sweet . Just not worth my $66. Never recommending them again .I always praised this bakery in the past . Almost ordered my cousins wedding cake from them .Thank God they had another wedding booked for that day .

My sandwich was amazing!! However I am disappointed in what they call a side salad. If this is what they normally serve I won't get a side salad again.

One of the best bakeries in town and the number one French macarons ever and on top of that the cakes are absolutely beautiful
