Great hot cocoa and the beignets were good, but not as fluffy as I expected

Coffee Call has the greatest beignets that I've ever had. Their perfect mugs of hot chocolate and deliciously warm beignets are my favorite in Louisiana. I was born and raised in Baton Rouge and I've visited New Orleans many times (which obviously has amazing choices too), but I can easily say that Coffee Call has the best beignets and hot chocolate. They were my favorite as a kid, and still are now.

Stopped here on road trip just on a whim. Never had a beignet before so I wanted to try it. This place was making them fresh. They obviously know what they are doing because they were busy. Really great!!!!!! Affordable too.

Their beignets are better than cafe du monde period. Local favorite

Coffee Call is as great as ever! I've been coming back for decades and always love the food, the staff, the atmosphere, and the experience! Baton Rouge's premier local experience!

You'll hear a lot of talk about the best beignets in Louisiana. Everyone immediately turns their mind to Cafe du Monde and New Orleans. Don't get me wrong they're good, but the real locals know that Coffee Call in Baton Rouge reigns supreme. Not only are their beignets better, but you can order beignet fingers, perfect for dipping in your cafe au lait. There's really nothing like that crispy crunch followed by a delicate chew that comes from biting into a Coffee Call beignet. No others come close.

I passed through on my way home to Atlanta, Georgia. I was looking for something close to the interstate and delicious benieghts. It was a grand find! There was no line and the locals were there. If it was good enough for them, it was good enough for me. Yummy treat!

Good fried dough and the "fingers" are novel. Coffee is weak so don't think of it as New Orleans cafe au lait. It's not even close.

Beignets are really good and pairs well with coffee or hot chocolate. Service is friendly and efficient even while very busy.

A MUST have New Orleans classic...enjoyed in Baton Rouge everyday. Great service and the real deal atmosphere.
