TABASCO Restaurant 1868

On the menu online it says GF and vegan options. We get all the way it here and they immediately say nothing is vegan and nothing can be made vegan. We would have eaten in town if we'd known that. I'm pretty mad because now all my non-vegan friends feel awkward eating while I'm sitting here not. Don't want to leave because we got here late enough we wouldn't finish the tours. So this place sucks and they should take vegan off the advertising and menu.

Very few vegetarian options, although they were willing to prepare a pasta dish for me. Took about 10 minutes and had a lot of extra olive oil on it, but was pretty tasty. About 10 flavors of Tabasco on each table makes it that much better.

Little more Spice than last time but still So Good...

CRAWFISH ETOUFEE! (I need say nothing more). The Restaurant is kind of Cafeteria style - food is served on Bamboo plates that are biodegradable. You have plastic "Silver" silverware - so don't be taken aback. It's not a Restaurant that is formal by any means - but the food is super tasty and worth trying after your visit through Tabasco and the Jungle Gardens. We sat outside on the porch while it rained - it was covered, well shaded, and they had all of the different kinds of Tabasco sauces for you to use on your food if you so desired. The servings were a healthy portion and we were not disappointed at all.

Great food at reasonable prices. All varieties of Tabasco available to try on your food. Very friendly staff. It's cafeteria style though. Was expecting sit down waiter service.

Excellent food. The experience is somewhat diminished by the madhouse, cafeteria-line ordering and service and bizarre pairing of ceramic dishes and fast-food style plastic trays that don’t fit them.

Quick service. Nachos with Chili are amazing.
