My wife and I LOVE this place, it's easily our favorite tea shop and the store people are soo friendly and sweet

One of the things that annoys me most is... when I'm on vacation, finally made it to a business, and they are closed!! 🙄 I'm heading home tomorrow and unlikely to make it back. Oh well... maybe I will take my chances and order online when I get home.

Seldom do you walk into an establishment that smells so good.

We happened into The Louisville Tea Company rather by accident. I’ve been looking for a good variety of loose leaf teas for a while and hadn’t met with the best of luck. While driving down LaGrange road I did a double-take as I saw the sign on the back of the building, turned around in the next driveway, and made my way there.

There’s something about the smell of tea that is, at once, exciting and relaxing. The walls are lined with canisters of loose tea and photographs taken by local photographers. The staff is VERY knowledgeable about their product and about tea, in general. You can smell just about any of the teas, and based on what you’re looking for or what you like, they’ll recommend something for your. You can get samples and cups of tea, brewed fresh, for a small fee.

I was looking for a tea for cold-brewing. One of my concerns about cold-brewing tea is that it can cloud. The nice lady behind the counter recommended Nilgiri for cold brewing and because it doesn’t cloud. A hot sample of the Nilgiri later and I was out the door with some.

The store it tiny, but well laid-out and more un-cluttered than you’d anticipate.

I can’t say enough about the Louisville Tea Company. If you’re looking for a huge selection of loose leaf teas, this may be a little out-of-the-way but well worth the adventure to get there.

What a fantastic shop! It's so cozy and filled with great energy! The decorations fit the atmosphere so perfectly, and I talked with one of the owners, and she was an absolute sweetheart, and so knowledgeable! She answered all of my questions even when I couldn't figure out how to phrase them! I'm so excited to have found this place and will definitely be back!

The store was so cozy! When I asked about a tea the staff happily told me what was in there, told me how the different parts mixed together (both scent-wise and in terms of flavor!), but also poured some tea into a small container for me to see (or smell) for myself!

They had such a huge variety of teas available that I could have easily spent all day and hundreds of dollars sampling and buying everything (which made it VERY hard to only pick a handful to take home with me!)

The only place to go get loose leaf tea in Louisville Metro/Southern Indiana area. Helpful staff always willing to help.

Such a wonderful tea company, the aesthetic and service alone is impeccable but the quality of tea plus the assortment of flavors is a tea drinkers heaven

Great service, yummy tea to lift the spirits. :) The raspberry cream green tea is delish.

It got REAL busy when I was there last, which is unusual... it's the best tea shop I know. With a really nice atmosphere
