Loved the focus on older cats. The space is super sunny and cozy, and the staff are very welcoming. Will definitely visit again.

It's a calm, cozy, and fun atmosphere, full of good vibes - I love that it's in a repurposed old house, as it seems to give these cats an opportunity to (re)adjust to domestic life and human interaction before finding their forever homes. The cats are treated wonderfully - they all have enough space, plenty of sunshiney windows and places to perch, and it seemed to me that every single one of the staff, all of whom could not have been friendlier, knew each individual cat in residence and their temperament.
I also had the very good fortune, on one visit, of being "chosen" by one of those cats; she made herself at home in my lap shortly after I arrived, and she's now been living with me for about a month. :) One thing that struck me about the experience of meeting and choosing her is that I wouldn't have had the opportunity to experience her personality if she'd just been in a crate at a traditional adoption center.
If you're at all a cat lover, you owe it to yourself to stop by, even if you've got a full house at home - it's not just an adoption center. It's heartwarming to see this good, humane work being done in the best possible way, and it's just a lovely place to spend time, too.

Very cozy place with sweet cats and sweet treats...I haven't been there for a while but I look forward to returning soon 😺

This is the coziest place to come hangout with cats in all of Louisville. They even serve sunergos coffee for a low price. The rooms are full of furniture for humans and cats and plenty of toys too. I personally find it best to come on a slow day and let the cats just chill with me as they choose to :)

I love this place. Such a great place to relax and hang with some awesome little kitties. The place is clean and cats are as happy as can be. If I didn't already have two of my own, I'd take one home every time.

The volunteers were so friendly and knowledgeable. Love that it was in an old house and the cats had lots of space to roam, as well various toys and tons of cool beds to choose from. Definitely will be visiting again.

Not so much a cat cafe as a house with cats in it that you can pet/play with for a fee that also has some snacks. The cats do seem genuinely well taken care of, but the whole vibe was just creepy and made us uncomfortable. Not to mention a "suggested" donation shouldn't be mandatory to enter, especially considering we stayed maybe 20 minutes of the hour allotted for the entrance fee (let's just call it what it is) so I paid $20 for 20 minutes before we just couldn't handle the uncomfortable vibe anymore and had to leave. Good idea in concept, but not at all great execution.

being one of the only non-profit cat cafes in the US makes this place special enough but to add a genuine, caring, loving and kind staff makes it over the top. my daughter was SO in her element and did NOT want to leave..... she would volunteer all of her time if she was old enough!!

I found this place while visiting Louisville for a few days and I had a great time here! The staff is very friendly and the atmosphere was very laid back. I loved being able to walk around and spend time with all of the kitties. I highly recommend checking this place out if you’re ever in the area.
