Six years ago, we moved into our home off Klondike, passing the cutest European cafe. We were eager to consume both caffeine and food after an early morning. From there, a love affair began.
The owners are kind and sweet. We love the assortment of Bosnian pies and a good ole macchiato.
A cozy space to bring friends and family, study, or read a book. It's a short five minute bike ride and a favorite stop on Sundays!
Borsalino delivers. Come and see why!

I needed something for lunch to eat in the car before my next appointment. Asked what could be prepared quickly and they recommended a burek. Flaky dough wrapped around seasoned ground beef was already baked, just needed five minutes to heat up. While waiting nosed around the small interior where several small tables are set up. The refrigerated case had no deli meats, just desserts and pastry. There’s a small display of bottles if wine, and a cozy bar where spirits are served, including my favorite single malt Scotch. Definitely going back for dinner. By the wsy, the burek was very tasty, and just half of it made a great lunch.

The people are nice and friendly here. The food however leaves something g to be desired. My husband had a gyro and I have the Bosnian pie. His gyro came out over cooked with crunchy bread. The flavor was ok but that was a major draw back
My Bosnian pie was the pita rolled thin with a very small amount of beef in it, rolled up and cooked The beef had no flavoring at all and the shell was doughy in places. The pie also was tepid temp. at best
The food took over 30 minutes to be served. Much longer than expected with only us as customers.
Over all I do not think I will be back

Lovely cafe with delicious European treats and traditional sandwiches/salads. The Bosnian Pie with spinach and cheese was especially good, as well as the house salad. The gyro (especially the sauce) was great! The owners are very nice and welcoming!!

I arrived late, close to closing hours. So order wasn't as fresh as it would have been. Ambiance was nice, service was good. I need to return to really taste a freshly made Gyros

Small, local place with a mixture of Middle Eastern-type foods & a huge array of beverages. Family-owned by really kind people. Food is tasty!

Ordered a beef gyro, fries and orangina on door dash and dang it was good!!! The pita was grilled but still perfectly chewy and the sauce (tzatziki) was AMAZING. My fries were nice and crisp and hot with flaky sea salt on them. You can tell the owners take pride in what they serve. I can't wait until I can go in and have a Turkish coffee and something sweet! Bosnian food is DELICOUS!!!!!! Help support a local business here in Louisville and enjoy seriously tasty food doing it.

Based on a quick lunchtime visit for a cappuccino and baklava, this place should be a hit. A Bosnian owner in a little non-descript strip area in a junky part of Bardstown and Hikes Lane--what could be better?! The cappuccino was nice and bold and had an excellent taste. They also serve soups and sandwiches at lunch. The owner was a little gruff at first, but warmed up. Next door is an Indian grocery store, and a Nepalese restaurant. A really interesting part of Louisville.
