As a full time student and worker this place is absolutely amazing! The environment they have created has never failed at making me feel comfortable and provides the perfect spot to sit back and focus on my school work. Whether you have to be there super early or late, their hours make it easy to accommodate your schedule. It’s a plus that all their coffee and food options are delicious and they always provide quick and friendly service. Highly recommend!

Hands down the best coffee shop in Lex, and the others don’t hold a candle to the ambience that Third Street Stuff offers. They’ve got plenty of spots to sit and chill at if you need to work on some projects or catch up on a good read. The vanilla mocha and vanilla hot chocolate are excellent, and if you pop in at 5-6PM you can snag some drinks for half off. Staff is very inviting and you can tell they got a passion and joy for their job.
Grab you a cup ASAP and support a valued local business.
Edit: Will be adding photos next time I visit

Really enjoy the atmosphere and the coffee. It isn't outrageously expensive and they have really yummy drinks with unique recipes. I always buy something besides coffee when I go, because they also have a great selection of greeting cards, gift type items, and local goods.

Over the past nearly 20 years, Third Street Stuff has earned its place as a Lexington institution and sets the bar very high for other coffee shops in town. They've been brewing and serving locally roasted coffee since way before it was cool, and IIRC before Starbucks had even come to town. Anyway the owners and workers are complete badass baristas and chefs. Their Hame and Brie sandwich is to die for and their Pink in May drink blew my mind and my palate wide open. Who knew cold brew poured over raspberry Gelato could be so amazing? Writing this review has actually convinced me to go get another one right now, that's how good this place is!
Plus I can't give them enough props for being staunch supporters of Lexington LGBTQIA+, immingrant, arts, music and writing communities. Third Street Stuff is a shining example of how valuable local businesses are to the identity and health of their local communities and we are so lucky to have them here in Lex!

Loved the positive vibes and support for multiple communities. Great art work all around. Had multiple bakery items and organic coffee

got the italian soda with strawberry. i know it’s basic but i don’t drink coffee. anyway the inside is adorable. i came here to study with a group of friends and ended up just chit chatting for two hours. i did have a lovely time though.

This is my vibe! The staff was great! Great place to pick up a coffee, relax, browse, and buy some local artisan items.

Ordered ham and cheese on a bagel and a cappuccino. Got the bagel but not the cappuccino. Reordered the cappuccino and when I got it, it was lukewarm and there was another bagel sandwich with my name on it. I opened it up out of curiosity and there was no meat or cheese in it, only something like grease drippings!
It's a curiously well-decorated coffee shop, but I was not blown away by the food or service.

I have lived in Lexington for over 20 years and passed by this place hundreds of times, but never ventured in until today. Just as fun inside as it is outside. Lots of color and kitsch. They serve coffee and drinks, breakfast and lunch things. Unique and comfy seating.

What a cute, interesting place. It had a loungey, cafe feel. The decor is awesome, you can tell the owners paid lots of attention to every detail of every inch of this place, even the outside. They having coloring books and crayons and colored pencils!! I was saddened that I saw Jones Soda in one of their photos, that’s the only reason we went there; but no Jones! Still a very cute place! Oh and the items they sell are hysterical; check out the hand towels in the photos!
