If you are not familiar with this place don’t even try it. We were not from Lexington but trying to support a local coffee shop and grab a bite to eat. When we approached there were no clear signs of which direction we should go and upon stepping onto the porch to try to get out of pedestrian traffic and get a look at the menu we heard the lady yell “we’re not open inside.” My friend and I were looking to make a decision and she rudely asked “what’re you looking at?” We then replied, “we’re trying to see the menu” she told us we needed to step to the sidewalk to see it. When we went to the side walk AGAIN in a rude voice the owner said “oh okay you’re leaving” when we were trying to look at the menu. Thanks to that mean lady we did leave and would not recommend. Lady you are not high on anything you expect your own ego.

So. Delicious. My friend got me a gift certificate and told me to try the crangerine. Best recommendation. Can’t wait to try more from here!

Excellent coffee and some of our favorite quick breakfast sandwiches in town. There's a charming little patio if you choose to enjoy your brew here and the staff couldn't be more pleasant. They use a waffle iron to make the scrambled egg for their egg and cheese croissant, and we are completely addicted. (Adding avocado to this sandwich is the way, thanks Ellie!)

Great food and cookies with really sweet garden seating. I really liked the sodas.

I wanted to try a little bit of everything, the menu was so appetizing! I ordered a scoop of pimiento cheese, a scoop of chicken salad, and a bowl of loaded potato soup (loaded with extra fixins). To my delight, the chicken salad does NOT contain fruit and the pimiento cheese was NOT a soupy mess, but just enough mayo to bind the cheese together. Yummy. Will definitely be returning to this place to try breakfast next.

Reasonably priced, great sandwiches and soups. I go here once a week.

This hidden gem is the absolute best coffee/breakfast spot in Lexington! If you love iced coffee the way I do then this is the place for you. You can’t go wrong with a fresh smoothie or breakfast sandwich either. Not to mention the owners are the sweetest people you will ever meet! #supportlocal

Ellie and her husband exude a genuine welcome to one and all. They set the tone for the variety of comforting menu choices which are ALL a reasonable price. Do I have yet to have any breakfast items I have had several sandwiches, soups, and salads and have truly enjoyed each one. It may sound silly but they make the best peanut butter and jelly sandwich and their pimento cheese is to die for. I love the fact that they have a variety of Italian sodas for those that want a sweet bubbly drink but not a traditional canned soda. Would love to know what they use for their coffee but it is the smoothest in town and each selection is made perfectly. You could even get flavored whip cream! How about that? Love this Lexington gem!

FAVORITE COFFEE SHOP IN LEXINGTON! The owners Tim and Ellie go out of their way to make customers feel like family and the food and drinks are DELICIOUS. They have done an exceptional job of reopening to the public during the pandemic and taking the utmost precautions to keep customers safe - They offer curbside service, prompt carry-out orders, and you can even walk up and place your order in a safe outdoor space where I feel very comfortable.

The food is amazing -- the sandwiches are thick with fresh ingredients and all the sides and desserts are homemade. They have great coffee drinks and can customize everything to your liking. Lots of vegetarian and vegan options and something for everyone.

Highly recommend the chicken salad as they use freshly-grown herbs from their own garden and make it themselves. The Crangerine sandwich is another favorite that you can't find anywhere else.

They have also put their entire art gallery online so it is accessible during the pandemic, so they can keep supporting local artists during this time while keeping us safe!

Amazing locally-owned, family friendly spot that is a great addition to this really cool neighborhood!!!
