We really love dining here.
The staff are friendly, it's clean. You have options to sit inside or in their lovely garden. A menu that caters to everyone's dietary needs.
And l love shopping there too. Local artists works & crafts for sale.

Nicest people on the planet!! Best food and coffee and overall atmosphere. The owners are accepting of all people and have created a safe and beautiful place for our community l! Can’t recommend this place enough!!

They finally opened the inside back up! Pretty kitschy place, not a fan of the decor or how cramped it is inside. All the knickknacks seem like a total waste of space when you could have more seating. Space is kinda wasted here, in fact; I'm a big person and I immediately got trapped by other patrons, very awkward and unfortunate. Worth going for the food though, their prices and quality are quite good! Been here for sandwiches and drinks multiple times. The prices are perfect to split a sammy as a snack with a friend or partner, and the taste is fantastic! I've yet to encounter a menu item I haven't enjoyed. This place is also in great proximity to other local shops and a pretty nice park, as well as maybe a 15min walk to downtown. Definitely worth a visit here if you want a quick bite, but sadly not the place to have a hangout or long conversation as it's quite cramped.

Truly one of my favorite places in Lexington. This family business is such a treasured haven of art & community, I’ve been going here for years and always leave happier than when I came in. The owners are incredibly kind people, the local art is lovely, the food & drinks are always delicious. Wholeheartedly recommend the crangerine turkey sandwich & the coffee milkshake <3

I’ve been visiting High on Art for more than 6 years and it’s been a favorite spot the entire time. I even took my wife there for one of our first dates (and they catered our wedding reception about 4 years later!). The coffee and the food can’t be beat, and Tim & Ellie are two of the most genuine and kind people. Highly recommend stopping in for a bite and to check out the art if you’re in the area.

I get my coffee here daily and I order breakfast and lunch here quite often. The food is always good. I’ve never been disappointed in what I get. They have so much to choose from. The coffee tastes good and the owners and staff are accommodating.

I feel welcomed there. I love talking to Ellie. And I consider them and the business good neighbors. Highly recommend. They are MY coffee shop of choice.

Amazing food, good service albeit with limited customer interaction (which is good).

Only issue is it's outdoor only seating. Some heaters would be great in colder months!

This is Lexington’s true, locally owned gem. Just good, honest food served up by friendly people. And the sandwiches are super creative. I highly recommend the crangerine turkey, avogobble (on rye), and the soon-to-be-renamed Festivus. Oh, and you can buy really cool, locally crafted art. Why would you go anywhere else? (Answer: you wouldn’t)
