Broomwagon Bikes + Cafe

One of Lexington's hidden gems!!! I adore this place. Whether you are a foodie or a bicyclist, it has something for everyone. I LOVE the coffee (and I'm not a coffee person) and the grilled cheese is amazing. Delicious pickled zucchini salad, smoothies from real fruit and everything they do has a creative/inventive spin. The menu is limited (about 10 items total including all of the sides) but what they do, they do remarkably well. It's a small place with big wow factor regarding food. Might make me think about taking up bicycling at some point! Service is equally great. While it is out of my way to stop by on my way to work, the occasional times that I do, I just call a few minutes before arrival and most mornings Cheryl is there and has my order ready to go. She's awesome!

After having a not so awesome experience and not even getting service at another coffee joint, I was more than tickled to stumble upon this joint! Staff was super friendly, drinks were awesome with indoor/outdoor seating!

Food, coffee, tea, beer, and bike shop?! Plus super neat decor with hand carved wood items and bike gear crafts. They had a group of local musicians in the patio area who were just having fun with some impromptu folksy music. Did I mention most of their drink specials have items from their garden? Best of ALL, they are dog friendly!

This was a wonderful Tuesday morning retreat. Stop for a bite to eat and got the breakfast wrap. It was divine. I can't believe how much every thing just melted in my mouth. The pricing was great and the relaxed vibes of the staff and interior design flow was a nice touch. Sat and enjoyed pleasant conversations while I ate my breakfast. Definitely coming back.

Really nice little local shop. We were visiting our daughter who lives nearby and stopped in for a coffee and sandwich, and were very impressed. We have a top notch bike repair shop near us and they could use a few tips from this place - everyone was super friendly and welcoming, and we browsed the selection (which was really good for a combo food/bike shop) while we waited. Will definitely be back; loved the atmosphere!

Great coffee shop, bar and bike shop. Very friendly staff. They welcomed me and my dog and even have a bowl and water for the pup. Coffee is was great and service was quick. Highly recommend stopping in.

We love Broomwagon! My favorite bean burrito, delicious homemade salsas, creative coffee & tea beverages plus good beers. It all feels so healthy, nourishing and made with love.
They give the best customer service on the bike side too-always give you their total attention and lots of helpful info. Their patio is wonderful and we love the Old Time music jams here too ❤️

Waited for 30 min for two burritos because the baristas weren’t paying attention that the food was already made but was set to the side and they were just chatting it up with each other. They had given me an order number and yet had just set the food to the side, no apologies, nothing. Very bad service.

This is such a cute shop and the owner Adam is great. Two of my favorite things - bicycles and coffee! …and they just got their liquor license. 🙂

An absolute gem of Lexington, my hubs and I have made going here an almost-every-weekend ritual for some delicious iced lattes and breakfast food! Anyone complaining about this place is just looking for something to complain about, and honestly...nothing is going to make that type of person happy! Broomwagon rocks!

And P.S. the short-banged septum-pierced weirdo is actually a super lovely person, so those comments hold no weight! :)

Knowledgeable and friendly staff, both in the bike shop and the cafe. Great prices on labor, around average for parts. Standard prices on craft beers, 4 rotating taps as well as cans and bottles available.

Awesome place, have a beer while you wait on your bike. Or coffee, whatever works for ya.
