Mill House Cafe

Almost drove right by this little gem on a drive to Kentucky. If you ever find yourself within 20 min of this detour and are looking for breakfast or great coffee trust me and stop here!

I grabbed 3 things on my stop: a breakfast biscuit, a cup of black coffee, and a peanut butter brownie....

The biscuits were made fresh in house and topped with sausage a freshly fried egg and melted cheese. It was delicious.

The coffee was fresh and smooth. You can tell they don't mess with stale beans and they grind fresh as well.

The peanut butter brownie was rich without being overdone and the peanut butter complimented the moist and dense brownie perfectly. The Reese's pieces and small Reese's cups on top were a bonus.

If you are on the fence until now let me help you....

1. They are fresh and delicious but also fast!!! My sandwich was done incredibly quick.

2. They are very reasonably priced!! I spent about 9.00 for all 3 items which would have easily been 15 at a Starbucks (but the coffee here was better!)

Beautiful spot! All together a well set up space right down to the parking. I ordered a black pour over medium coffee and paid $4. Coffee is strong and if you are a Coffee lover you will like it. Strong flavor without the acidic after taste. 5/5

** update. Had a iced carmal mocha Latte....unbelievable!!!!!!!!! It's like Jesus cried in my mouth but right before, he told my dad " he is good enough "

Awesome customer service, very clean, quaint, & the food was delicious! I had potato soup & half a turkey sandwich and fruit tea. Went with a friend for lunch & was not disappointed! Will definitely be back!

Very cute interior. Nice hangout spot for downtown Franklin. Lots of food options and coffee. Coffee was good. They have alternative milk options which was super nice.

This place has such a great vibe, it's a perfect place to grab lunch! The food is really yummy and it's not near as expensive as chain places like Panera. I'll definitely be back again!!

Pretty good coffee! A little hot, but once it cooled it was an enjoyable experience. Just had to wait about 15 minutes before I could drink the coffee.

Overall a pretty chill environment that I love to visit when I’m in town!

It takes a lot for me to leave a negative review. This one is deserved. On Christmas Eve before leaving town I brought my family in for coffee and food. The lady taking my wife’s order was very rude. The man that delivered the food was very nice. Food and drinks were great but the lady should not be the face of the business with her attitude. I watched her be rude to other people. My wife even said Merry Christmas to her when leaving and she just looked at her and mumbled something. Pathetic customer service..

I was passing through and came across this cafe in downtown Franklin KY. From the name, I was hoping they also roasted their own beans. The layout is nice, and could expand into a serious type of coffee shop if a dedicated barista was hired. I live about 25 minutes away and will not make plans to visit for a latte though. If nearby, I would probably stop in and order something else that doesn't require steamed milk.

It's a quaint little coffee shop on the square. I've only eaten their food a couple times and it was okay. But their coffee and espresso options are phenomenal. And the staff is always nice. They do also have a lot of dessert options.

Great atmosphere. Not a fan of the vanilla & Caramel cold brew but I'm gonna keep trying until I find a good choice. Great selection. The cookies taste a bit store-bought but I didn't ask so that may be an insult to the cook (sorry!). Inside looks phenomenal! Lots of seating.
