K's Cafe

We were taking a detour to go to the bbq place in town. When we arrived they were out of several meats and they were already cleaning up to close early. Disappointed and hungry we left. We decided to give K's a try. So glad we did!

My wife had the Fried Green Tomato BLT. The fried green tomatoes were delicious -very nice and crispy. The bacon was just right. The spicy fries are like Rallys. The K's sauce is a mix of ketchup, mayo and some spices. A really nice compliment to the fries.

I had the Philly Cheese Steak. It was the best sandwich I've eaten in a very long time. The steak was thin and grilled crispy. The veggies were still had a crunch, but cooked well. The bread was so soft and warm and it had the perfect amount of cheese.

A friend traveling with us had the chicken tenders. They were thick and juicy. They were made from fresh chicken breasts. Lightly breaded and crunchy. He had the loaded spicy fries with cheese and bacon. No bacon bits here. Fresh bacon crumbled on top.

K's is an out of the way gem.

Today we stopped in and sat there for 15 minutes. That's fine people are busy. But to not have no service the entire time was rude. Other individuals coming in were serviced I don't understand why run a business this way.

I have Alpha-gal and they offered to fix my food totally separate! They went way above just to make me feel safe while eating. The food was top notch too! Excellent.

Great place to eat. Love the friendly workers. They treat u like family.

Fun and homey little diner. Server was very friendly, and the prices were good. The real deal is the burger basket - a dressed burger, slaw, and fries for $4.99!

This is a great little diner. We stopped here just passing through and we were very satisfied with the quality, quantity, and the price. It has a humble atmosphere and friendly service. We will definitely stop again next time we're around.

Good cheap eats. We usually try to hit them on Fri night for all you can rat catfish but didn't make it.
Tried the catfish off the menu and it was good but not as good as Fri nights. Will be sure to get there on Fri next time

My family and I use to love this place,... but now the food is just...okay...if I want to pay that much for home cooked style food,..it needs to be way better . Now I will say this,.. the atmosphere and everyone is always wonderful. Thats why i always wait awhile and give it another chance.i want tbr food to draw me back too. for the price I'd rather go to a good chain restaurant.

Always have amazing food and the service is even better. Very friendly environment and you cannot beat the prices.
