Shame on me for not asking. I assumed $14+ for the pink corvette drink would have come with a "take away glass" to keep or at the very least a pink sparkly stir stick. It did not. It was just a drink - nothing fancy. For that price you'd think there'd be a little pizzaz ... some shiny sugar on the rim perhaps, or at least have it served with a smile. To add to the buzzkill .. it was mostly ice. LOL ... Shame on me for expecting something exotic ...
Anyways, the salmon wrap, the chili and the pasta salad were very good.
Loved the museum a whole lot so didn't let the cafe disappoint me by association.
I've gone to the National Corvette Museum, 2 or 3 times a year, for several years. I own a Corvette, and am a Member of the Corvette Museum. I've always eaten at the Corvette Café when I go. I was there last weekend (July 15-18, 2022). They've done a lot of renovations. The Café is part of that. Cut to the chase. They have completely ruined everything about this Café. It used to be a 50's-style diner. It was beautiful. It was fun. A Corvette Burger, a milkshake, and fries. What this has become is a total disappointment. It's dark, and looks like a boarding area at an airport, or a cheaply done executive lounge. Totally unappealing. Then, I'm greeted at the door by some snotty, nasty attitude, 19-year-old girl as a hostess. I take a seat. The condescending waitress arrives, with a wine and beer list. I dont need that! Then, the menu (oh brother!). They now offer wild boar, elk, and "the finest" Wagyu beef, at a more-than-premium price. Salads, from $12 to $15 or more. Then, you can add shrimp, or other extras, for an additional $6.95 to $8.95. So, a "custom" salad, for up to $25. Just ridiculous. No hamburgers, no milkshakes. Only high-dollar garbage that I wouldn't eat. So, the waitress keeps trying to talk me into something. I had ordered a Mellow Yellow to drink. After 3 or 4 attempts to get me to order something, I just told her, "You know, they've honestly ruined this Café. There's nothing here that I would eat. I just want regular food. I don't want a $100 lunch. If you could just bring me the bill for the Mellow Yellow, I'll pay for it, and be on my way". I got an attitude from the waitress when I just told the truth, and said this. She brought the check, $4, for the Mellow Yellow. I paid and left. I have no interest or intention of going there again. Highly disappointed with this "new" approach.
Corvettes, the Corvette Museum, and the Corvette Café, are supposed to be reminiscent of Americana. What they've turned this Café into is just a very unappealing, over-priced, snotty, "look at me", yuppy, pretty much corporate, and very disappointing waste of time. If this is your style, have at it. Not for me. They've ruined it.
Stopped for a quick bite to eat on our way through KY. Nothing quick about it. Waited 30 minutes for our food: a chicken wrap & fries, and a hot dog with chips. 15 minutes would have been a long time to wait for that kind of food...30 minutes was inexcusable. Tables & booths were not clean...had to wipe them down ourselves. Friend ordered a hot dog with cheese & chili...cheese is NOT cheese (the kind you unwrap from plastic) and the chili was canned. I would NOT go out of my way to eat here, unless you just want to ogle the corvettes at the attached museum & have a lot of time to waste.
A blah burger, a pickle that was waaay strong, rubbery potato salad. The fries are a strange hybrid of curly fries and wedges, I wasn't thrilled. Fast casual dining in a full service dining room was confusing, the servers behind the counter did their jobs great, all things considered. They have the upper hand though, as long as you don't go somewhere else. Enjoy the museum, go somewhere else for lunch, like the Bike Rack Bistro! #266
If I could rate 0 stars I would. The girl took my order confirmed my order along with everyone else's never put my order in the computer. Made us pay for a side when our meals came with them. Youngest was supposed to get a comemorative cup with his shake and she gave him a regular clear cup. Very rude service food was not very good according to everyone else just an overall horrible experience. Don't eat here.
Excellent fries. Good burger too. Classic diner atmosphere within the eye candy of the Corvette Museum. But, as others have said, expect a long wait. No other complaints.
Poor service. Line going out the door and the girl working out front was taking her time. I ordered a coffee along with food and had to go back after eating because coffee still wasn't ready. All they had to do was pour it in a cup and they just didn't do it. Will not go back

Great food. Only took about 10 minutes for our food of 3.
