Barnes & Noble

My friend and I, come into this Barnes and noble almost every week, and have a pleasant experience most of the time, buying comics and boardgames, with the option of purchasing some delicious coffee.

However, today my friend and I came in to do our routine, and my friend was feeling a bit queasy. He had been feeling a little sick all day, but it was not a problem until we were sitting down, playing kings of tokyo.

After debating whether or not he was going to puke, he finally did, running to the bathroom, with me right behind to make sure he was okay.

After a few more trips to the bathroom, he finally felt at least decent enough to go back and continue our game.

But then, we noticed the manager, David (unaware of last name), watching us with the eyes of a hawk. Every move we made was watched, and radioed to the other employees.

Embarrased, we continued our games and reading for another hour or two, until again we had to make a trip to the bathroom, so my friend wouldn't blow chunks on the floor.

Finally, my friend had had enough, after I had just purchased a frappuccino, and we decided to leave. As we were walking to the front door, I overheard David once again radio our movements.. "they're about to walk out the front door".

With a call a few minutes later, I decided I will not be returning to barnes and noble, for fear of being discriminated because of my tattoos, and alternative look. If you think you may look like me, do not go here, you face possible prosecution, for just being different.

Thanks barnes and noble, and thank you David, for ruining the rest of my night.

I always enjoy going to Barnes and Noble. The staff is friendly and is knowledgeable about their store and products. It is a place I can take my daughter as well, and she always enjoys it too. This place is clean and well kept.

Love this store, so fors my family and children. Unique quality items, specialty stuff that you have can not just find at any old department store! We absolutely love Barnes & Noble!!¡¡¡¡♥️

Awesome first time there. So many wonderful books and a Starbucks inside too..

Is this place going out of business? The inside looks like the place is closing. The floor is filthy and the shelves are dirty. Staff not very welcoming. I have always been a fan of book stores and have been in this one several times but I will not be back. Better, cleaner service ordering online.

There's a Starbucks inside. They also carry a range of manga and graphic novels. Good place to buy a book and sit and read while sipping some coffee. Sometimes the green tea lattes at the Starbucks taste like they don't have enough matcha, but pretty good otherwise.

Coffee shop really added to the aesthetic of the whole store, the books are great and the children section is great for my little brothers.

Staff is always helpful. We attended a little Harry Potter event. The kids made a little golden switch and they gave out samples of butter beer fraps.

They have a great selection with literature ranging from the classics to modern graphic novels. That being said, they're on the pricey side and they've started stocking pro-Trump conspiracy books that's been attracting an unsavory crowd.

Game night at Barnes and Noble is every other weekend. My husband took our two kids (I had to work), and they had a great time! Love the activities for the family.
