Vagabond Cafe

One of the best nightlife coffee shops around! Regular there for years. Great for morning work on a laptop, hanging out with friends, or meeting new people. Made some lifelong friends there. Diverse patrons, age, SES, culture. Staff are solid, experienced. Great experience and go to.

Very nice dive-in bar, intimate atmosphere, great service. I come here everytime I'm in the area, which is about twice a year.

$2 MYSTERY BEERS. Need I say more? Lol, I will. Always a chill environment with a wide selection of beers, which I choose to pay only $2 for each beer and let the bartender choose a beer for me. It is a great way to expand your beer tastes! Great place to come and hang out with friends, have a coffee, tea, or alcohol. Study during the day, play board games or cards, chill on the patio out front or the deck out back. A gem of Delano. I love it!

If you're looking for an out-of-the-way bar then this is it. No TVs blaring sports. The one tv was on but couldn't tell you what was on, the sound was down. Just some booths and tables and a pretty good selection of liquor. People were talking and laughing and having a good time.

I had been recommended to try this place by a co-worker of mine, and finally decided to check it out on a whim. Almost missed it since it was right off the roundabout, but conveniently found street parking just feet away. Very cozy and relaxed atmosphere, friendly and quick service, and a killer music selection all culminated into a pleasant and welcoming experience (even if you're just wanting to grab a cup of java and dive into a good book). I haven't tried their alcoholic selection yet, but will no doubt be coming back to do so very soon!

Tl;Dr: If you're on the fence about trying this place and/or happen to be downtown, just go. It will definitely be worth your money and time (especially if you're an introvert but willing to try out new things, like me)!

Good coffee, pretty busy even late. Nice, laid back atmosphere with a pretty mellow hipster customer base.

Last visit, I was met with attitude from the bartender upon arrival. The place has definitely been run down, but at least it looked like some very light renovation has been done.
