We love LaMars for the customer service! Everyone behind the counter has always been helpful, happy, and courteous. Doughnuts are above average. I would like to see the bear claws better stuffed, like the bismarks.

Very dirty bathrooms and store, irritating home recorded audio. Cold coffee.

Just bought donuts. Super excited as traveling from out of town and remember Lamars as yummy. Brought in three kids to share the experience. Unfortunately and despite yummy donuts, our experience was very disappointing. The store manager assisted us and, man, it was like we were getting our hand slapped for asking simple questions like how many more donuts we needed for a dozen or which were specialty donuts. Geez! Smiles were not free at Lamars. Let’s remember to be kind even if we aren’t having our best day!

The staff informed me upon entry they could only accept cash.. My total was $16 and I gave her a $20..i was then informed she couldn't give me change.. Donuts were fresh and tasty, staff was apologetic

One of the best donuts I've had! The staff is always very friendly and helpful. Many different options from plan ring donuts to specialty (fritters, cinnamon rolls, etc). The favorite choice amongst our household is the marble.

Best donuts in Wichita! They are so nice and they keep the place clean. Highly recommend!

Hands down the BEST donuts in town!! Some of the ladies on staff go above to greet you and write kind messages on our donut boxes, LOVE this place!!

Most employees wear gloves and masks while handling food except one employee who only wears one glove but handles the donuts with the ungloved hand, SMH. I avoid this employee from taking my order, other than that it's a weekend treat

Its been a few months since I've been to Lamars. The moment I walked in it was very obvious new owners. I asked the manager since he had a different uniform on than the rest if it was new owners. He informed me its no longer franchise now a corporate store. Which was very obvious. not only was he rude that i asked. But the environment was no longer welcoming and friendly as it was with the previous owner. With everyone in a uniform, the family photos, the extra decorations that made the store very friendly and welcoming is gone. The store has lost its soul it had for years.
The staff were very nice but the manager is obviously a corporate brown nose AND rude.
My advice is get rid of the uniforms it no longer makes it a friendly environment. the Staff while nice they were no longer talking with each other they once did. Its obvious new staff but since they no longer seemed to enjoy being there and talked with each other and the customers, its obvious they have to force the smile and kindess.
Sell the store back to a local owner so the store will have soul and friendly family environment it once had.

Stopped here on a Friday morning to grab a dozen donuts for my coworkers. There was a line out the door, but the employees were able to joke around and provide prompt service. Would definitely recommend if you are in the mood for some donuts other than Hurts.
