LaMar's Donuts and Coffee

There was one employee working the counter. It seemed like she was the only one there. The phone rang, and she let it ring. She was busy filling customer's orders. I appreciated her taking care of customers that were in the store. They've always had great donuts.

The best rolls! They are huge. Always great service and polite.

I normally don't care much for donuts but I will be up at the crack of dawn for the donuts from Lamar's!

Donuts are fantastic but for some reason they insist on under staffing. Last couple times Ive been in it’s taken 10-15 minutes to just get to the counter. Not super busy just apparently only two people working. Doesn’t help when they shut off door dash “until it slows down”. Just not worth a half hour trip when the store is only 5 mins away. Disappointing.

The staff was really helpful and patient with us even though they were really busy they took the time to help us pick out our pastries and drinks. The donuts were huge! They were very soft and tender with a great texture. They really treated us like family. The coffee was very fresh not overly strong either it was a very well balanced blend. The establishment was very clean as well!

Bad experience this morning. I’ve been going here consistently for years and ever since the main guy left during COVID 2020 - the customer service has gone from excellent to questionable. Came in just before 8 o’clock looked as if they had a busy morning… And the lady behind the counter groaned when I said I wanted two dozen donuts. So much so that I was like “or one” — like you don’t have to give me two dozen if you don’t want? Made excuses for how they were out of this or that or the other thing - I really didn’t care they weren’t for me personally - and begrudgingly filled my two boxes full of donuts… I almost walked out but just decided that I wouldn’t come back again for a long time. I don’t know about you but if I’m patronizing your business I want to feel like you want me there? I understand they must be short staffed like everywhere … and gal didn’t provide bad service - she was fine - just a uncomfortable vibe.

I love the texture of the donuts. It's unlike anywhere else. We went today on father's day and they were almost out of donuts at 845 which was a bummer. I also asked for iced lattes and got hot. They were slammed though so I just let it slide. It was still delish.
