Banjo's Cafe

Looks shady from the outside, but really nice and clean inside. Food was good. Coffee was okay. I had the chicken fried steak bowl but with chicken. There wasn't as much chicken as I was expecting - mostly potatoes. The pancakes were really nice and fluffy. The syrup came out warm. Good prices.

When in for a weekend we decided to treat ourselves. Staff ignored us to get seated. Once seated, waitress got our orders quickly then would ignore our gestures to get her attention. Coffee tasted like mop water, waited an hour with no food. We walked out.

Banjo's Cafe wasn't a drive through but one customer thought otherwise. After reopening due to an unfortunate accident this restaurant hasn't missed a beat. It was a little crowded for my visit but we were able to find a seat and was waited upon in a timely manner. The food I saw going to other tables before we received ours all looked great and with very healthy portions. If you leave here hungry maybe a buffet is more your speed. I ordered breakfast and was pleasantly surprised, there was a lot of it and it was hot and delicious. I can see why this place is so popular. I wish I could remember my waitresses name because she definitely deserves a shout-out. I'll look next time, yes, there will be a next time.

First time eating there, good service, great food, just ordered too much. Food portion is great so if your not a big eater don't eat the large breakfast. It was full of all the meats plus eggs and toast..

BEST. FOOD. IN. KANSAS. You have to come at unregular times if you don't want to wait an hour. But the food is SO worth it. I have never had anything that does not just amaze me and I never knew pancakes tasted like this! You will not be disappointed. Ever.

Feels like a small town dinner. The food is amazing and the waitress was great. Some of the best coffee I've had from a restaurant.

I ate lunch here with a couple of my buddies from work and I will never go back! The food itself is not bad. In fact, if you can manage to ignore the lackluster service and long wait, even when not busy, you may be okay. I ordered french toast and bacon for lunch, as I previously said, the food was good and I didn't spend much ($10). The problem that I had was that when we got there, it was not anywhere close to resembling busy. A few moments after we came in, another small group of people from my work arrived. Even though they arrived after us, they received menus first. Once we called it out, then we had menus brought out to us and the server told us that our server had ran to get ice and that was why. She brought us our stuff as "our server" would never make an appearance. Even though we ordered our food first, once again, the other group received their food first. The server said it was because one of my coworkers ordered a steak. In the end, it took us six minutes to drive there from work, 40 minutes to get our food, 10 minutes to eat it, and another six minutes to drive back. Luckily, being that we are visitors at the work site, we were not on a concrete time table for lunch. Otherwise, we would have been out of luck. I will not return here and I certainly won't recommend it to anyone else.

This is the kind of place where you can get down home delicious food. No fancy ingredients - burgers, chicken fried steak, pies, all delicious! Right near the airport and was hopping busy at lunch.
