Omg the lady working was so nice she also had the best braids. The coffee was great, the books selection was amazing. I will definitely be going back

I love Ad Astra. Love being surrounded by books, which you can also buy. I love that I can meet up with a friend and sit in the baby and children's book area and allow my daughter to play, but still be comfortable enough right close to her and enjoy my coffee. Date nights are great here too!!! The atmosphere is unlike anywhere else in Salina. Cozy, warm, inviting, and charming.

The store always has pretty quick service even when they're busy the line moves at a reasonable pace. One of the things I do notice about the store is that it is always clean and I have never seen dirty tables

Has a lot of charm. A real small town place, not like a chain coffee house. They are always super nice there, and they sell a variety of local products, used items and yummy treats.

I am so grateful to have this coffee shop in our community. I love the culture it brings to Salina in a variety of ways and the treats and drinks are always delicious. This is one of my favorite places in Salina to go to and every friend or family member I’ve brought here has loved it!

Second hand books and a coffee shop with fantastic hot chocolate. I had an almond white hot chocolate, it was rich, frothy and delicious. Even though I don't drink coffee, there's something cozy about the smell of old books and coffee. Ad Astra has the perfect set up: homey atmosphere, board games and cards, used old and new books for sale, simple treats and snacks, and warm drinks.
Slip in by yourself or with friends and let time sneak away.

Fantastic place where all are welcome. They have plenty of events every week with Tuesday game nights and Wednesday vinyl record nights. They bring in singers from around the country and local slam poets. A lot of local artists are regulars here as well as writers. Great people, great people, good food.

From the classic coffee drinks to the well priced reading selection and the board game collection this place deserves the five stars. Between the good internet and comfortable seating, if I lived closer, I'd be there all the time.
