Homer's Coffee House doesn't have working wifi - but they will still overcharge you for a drink before letting you know that their wifi doesn't work so that you have to leave and go somewhere else and buy a second coffee just to get any work done. Don't come here if you plan to study or work remote.

Great Coffee, Great snacks and various foods. The roasts they use are very good:) this was a homemade Oatmeal Cram Pie they made....Yummmm!

I absolutely love Homers. The staff is outstanding and I consider them friends. The seating along the wall is the perfect height with the tables for computer users. However, there is one major problem in the summer. They will not turn on the air conditioning. They have no central air. They have 2 wall units on the east wall. They say if they turn them on they will drip on the paintings they sell that are on the wall. I have been coming here since 1996 and have never seen one sold. All they have to do is move 3 paintings. They also will tell you the air conditioning units will drip on the customers. It's 96 degrees outside and 76 degrees in here. It averages 77 to 78 degrees in the summer. The staff will tell you people complain about the heat every day. Yet the Owner will do nothing to correct the problem and make it comfortable for the customers. I don't get it. I have left here many times to go to a competitor of there's and avoided this place in the summer due to this problem. I have to drive much farther to the nearest coffee house I like. I know I am not the only one. I would rather come here.

I frequent Homer's Coffee House because it's close to home and all the employees there are always friendly. You're always greeted with a smile and their coffee is fantastic! Everyone there will remember your name and order if you become a regular. It's not often I have to wait in line but the one time I did- as soon as I paid they had my coffee already made. I guess I should change my order more often to throw them off! :)

Whoever was making coffees yesterday around 3:30/4pm was bad. I ordered the 20 oz iced vanilla latte, my family got their drinks, mine was a hot drink, i told her it was supposed to be an iced vanilla latte she made several other peoples orders, then replaced mine in a small, i said this is supposed to be a 20 oz, then she made others coffee again then replaced mine.....i almost asked for my money back and got down the road only to discover there was no vanilla in it. We spent so much time waiting for the multiple order redu it was nuts, thought it would be quick in and out! This was my first time there, bad experience, won’t go back!

Found this place while making the trek down to Microcenter from the Northland. Love the coffee and staff here. The facilities are very well taken care of as well and there is plenty of space to not only safely social distance but to get work done, read a book or catch up with a friend.

This is the only place I've found to be well-rounded in each review area: they have great decor-- if you don't like it, come back in a week-- it'll be different; good food-- they'll serve it in a tea press on request; they know how to make drinks. Their teas are great as well-- they also offer tea presses. Their parking area is adequate as well, though you can't judge a place based on that which they cannot change. Some people suggest they get couches-- those people don't get that this isn't an Amsterdam-style cafe. This is an American study/work style-cafe. They claim to be a Christian organization, but being open on Sundays (including the mornings) truly negates that claim.

Love the place, love to support local. Cup of coffee I had tasted like it was remnants of the previous day though. Need a quality control taste in the am.

I had a really lovely banana smoothie. The service was wonderful. The live band packed up early and the server volunteered to sing for me. The barista made several coffee recommendations, was very friendly and knowledgeable. Upon sitting in their leather corner seat I found a stray cheerio and was informed it was now mine and also free. Their Homer's original blend drip coffee is strong and delicious also.

Loved the iced Americano, vegan donut, and spinach quiche. Staff is always amazing. Plenty of setting.
