Best coffee I've had in a while. I got the freebird - a caramel and vanilla latte and it tastes fresh and is incredibly smooth. The drive thru was fast, easy and incredibly convenient. Thank you!

I love the coffee and the variety of offerings. The 31st st location is spacious. However... when 2 young men were playing a war game on their tablets with sound on several patrons became irritated. When I mentioned to Barista she was super nice and offered to say something to them. She told them to move to another table but they did not turn down the volume or put headphones in. Machine Gun clatter + Coffee Shop....HUM

We used to visit at least twice a week, always got great service, delicious coffee, and had a nice relaxed atmosphere. Not sure when it changed, but it seemed like overnight everything changed. Our usual baristas were missing, the new ones constantly messed up orders and were nonchalant about it. "Oh, you wanted an Americano? Well, I made it a latte. It's pretty much the same thing." Even when they got the order right, it was poorly made. Quiet Sunday mornings suddenly had a tablefull of obnoxiously loud people. I can't give less than 4 stars cause we had almost two years of love for this place, and we don't live nearby anymore to check in.

I visited Z's with my daughter, who typically likes funky, dark coffee shops, so I was surprised by the well-lit and shiny environment. The food and coffee are very good and it is far enough away from campus not to be crowded with students and hipsters.

I enjoyed a delicious latte coffee served in a ceramic cup(special request) as I took a quiet break relaxing inside their cafe. Friendly.

Forget Starbucks! Z's food is fresh, not pre-packaged and microwaved/toasted. The service is wonderful and the coffee is delicious. I'm always happy to support a local business that is so awesome.

I stopped here on my way out of Lawrence. I ordered the Kashmir latte. I didn’t expect to like curry in a latte but it was delicious! I hope to find something similar near where I live.
