Gravel City is absolutely magnificent. Every time I go the atmosphere is so welcoming, the staff are kind and caring, and the coffee always hits the spot. I can’t recommend them enough, especially their honey oat milk latte.👌🏽😁

I adore the atmosphere at this place! The staff is so welcoming and friendly, and go out of their way to make you feel welcome. Angie and Joe are incredible people that go out of their way to connect with the members of their community, and they culture an atmosphere of joy and welcoming.

Spacious coffee shop with plenty of outlets to plug in, work/study or relax and enjoy your caffeine fix. If not either of those, stay and play a board game that is available in the shop. Friendly faces take your order, great music though it varies depending on whose working.

Their products don't stop at caffeine, but also serve local baked goods, oatmeal and delicious foods. This place is so cozy, its unreal. Could spend a lot of time/money here if I were local.

We recently visited because my boyfriend is currently the featured artist for Emporia First Fridays Art Walk. Unrelatedly related, they share a space with Coldwell Banker, real estate.

Fast, friendly service, the Irish cream Iceberg is a must try!

So... I'm gonna say. If you haven't ever tried this place you are definitely missing out! They serve the best coffee and related drinks ever! My favorite is the Irish iceberg (rich smooth coffee with Irish cream , creme de menthe, cream, and ice blended and put into a cup with chocolate drizzled sides!) Definitely stop by here if you wanna be amazed. Plus they have awesome huge cinnamon rolls, and all kinds of other pastries as well as an art gallery/store as you walk in and lots of comfortable seating too! This is a hidden Emporia, KS treasure!

During my time as a student at ESU, I’ve found myself at Gravel City on numerous occasions and was always greeted with a warm smile and the best service. Their old location was cozy, but this new location has a lot more opportunity and room to study, read, or chat with a friend. Coffee is always perfect and their cinnamon rolls are amazing. I’m a big fan of GCR and everything they stand for. Well done!
