The food was tasty, a little small on the portion size but for me it was perfect.
They have a little county store full of darling farmhouse decor.
And judging by how many people ordered cinnamon rolls, apparently they have good ones. I'll definitely try one next time I'm in town.

Worst sandwich I’ve ever had in my life. $9ish for a sandwich that’s just normal sized bread and drier than the desert. I felt like I was being robbed and had to stand there and smile. I would genuinely rather eat dirt between two pieces of stale white bread.

Their puff pastry is out of this world. Any time a friend comes to Baldwin, I ask if they've had any homesteads baked goods. Also, next door at the hamburger shop, their sweet potato fries might be the best in the nation.

Their chicken is always a bit dry, but you can't have everything.

I grabbed a coffee and lunch when I came here. The staff were all very friendly and the environment of the building was welcoming. The food and coffee were both delicious. Needless to say, I will definitely be a returning customer.

Last night was my first experience with Homestead. We got the pot pie special take and bake style and holy cow! That was the best pot pie I've ever had! Loved it so much we went back again today for lunch! I got the calzone, AMAZING! My husband got the lunch special, half sandwich with salad and he loved it. My picky 6 year old loved her $3 kid's meal! My only "complaint" is the pot pie special comes with a quart of ice cream, and you don't get a full quart, it's a quart container with scoops of ice cream. Probably get about 3/4 a quart. Doesn't bother me enough to take away a star just might be something for future patrons to know ahead of time. 5 stars!

I don't know how this place has over 3 stars. They forgot my drink and were only going to give me half of my order until I showed them my electronic receipt. The roast beef sandwich is a joke. It's so plain and simple I don't see where they got their prices from. The turnover I ordered was burnt and hard as a rock. I would never recommend this place to anyone. Overall just bad experience and a waste of money.

We're here from NC visiting family and our grandson said this is the best place to go! He wasn't kidding! Excellent food and service! We'll be going back for sure!

The girls working there were sweet, the place was adorable, and the food selection was great. We needed a healthy food option in town...so I was happy to see the menu! I only tried the quinoa chips and guacamole since I went there for coffee, but I plan to go back soon!
