Mahalo's Coffee & Mini Donuts

Any of the donuts with chocolate are absolutely amazing. The honey donut is a good change of pace while the salty donut is a good palette cleanser. The only donut I would stay away from is the strawberry, tastes like children's cough syrup. Be aware they make the donuts fresh and it can take 10-15 minutes for two dozen. These donuts are meant to be enjoyed warm and fresh!

Also order an iced kohana coffee which had a beautiful deep roast but wasn't bitter at all. They also used coffee ice cubes so it doesn't get watered down. Love that attention to detail.

Clean and delicious. It was fun watching our donuts be made right before our eyes. Only wish we had time to try everything. A little pricey but definitely worth it. The woman working the counter was sweet and polite. She seemed to know a few of the other customers and was friendly with everyone she spoke too.
My wife and I were very pleased with our service and the product we received. Will return with more time, money, and joy, soon.

Unique experience. Good coffee. Donuts overly sweet. Because the donuts are so small, the sweetness is a bit overwhelming.

One of my favorite coffee shops in the area! All the staff are friendly and it’s always nice to see the owners as well! Their iced coffees are always delicious because of the coffee ice cubes they use! Their mini donuts are adorable and the taste is to die for!

Definitely bring some friends to eat the donuts cause they are sweet and sugary, but it was totally worth it! Loved them! Wanted more but knew it would probably upset my stomach. The coffee was also fantastic, so many new options I've never seen, I wanna try them all!

Legit best donuts !!! We were on road trip and saw it online and it is truly a must stop! We ordered powdered sugar, cinnamon sugar, cinnamon lava and the bacon one! I wish this place was on the east coast so I could get them more often! Such a friendly and welcoming place as well!

Excellent donuts, coffee and customer service. Tied for the best donuts I've had in Des Moines so far. They seem to make their ice cubes out of coffee (for iced coffee) so water doesn't dilute your drink as it melts. Great attention to detail. It made me regret dumping out the ice cubes. I'll have to let them melt next time because the coffee was very good. Will definitely visit again.

Fun spot. Something different for sure. Will be back.
