Awesome little coffee shop! Drive thru or sit-in. They can make just about every kind of coffee drink, plus smoothies and teas. Sandwiches are delicious, as are all the local pastry treats they offer. Fast and friendly service. Locally owned and run! Great people!

We were traveling through and decided to stop here for coffee in story city. It really had great food and lattes. We plan on coming back through here. I would also recommend taking a quick drive through the town it really is a nice place.

Great local stop. Lattes and mochas are pretty good — not my favorite, but okay. I’ve been here many times and always receive consistent, knowledgeable, and friendly service. Best coffee spot if you don’t want to drive to a larger city. Food here sounds amazing but I’ve only had drinks here.

Relaxed, cozy atmosphere. Welcoming and pleasant staff. Coffee is great and light lunch options look really good! Would definitely pick this place over a standard starbucks.

Definitely not a good option if you are on the road, as breakfast took about 15 minutes to be made. The food was good though. The coffee order was messed up. Staff was friendly and I believe they would have fixed it; however, I was not willing to wait longer. Good natural sunlight and the place had a good ambience.

Nice spot. Fresh food and good coffee. No prepackaged foods, they make it there when you order. They did run out of eggs though and it was only 10 am.

Excellent drinks. And of course, the staff is always so nice and friendly! It's a good place to go and relax or even work on a project. The atmosphere is friendly but not too loud to concentrate.

The food was your usual fare for a coffee house - soup of the day (which was very good) and a few choices of paninis with chicken. There was one vegetarian choice. The bread was white. The sandwiches were good. I liked my coffee but my husband didn't think his was very good. It was a beautiful day and we took advantage of their outdoor seating. A couple of pesky bees wanted our food.

I thought the coffee & service was so great, I went back the next morning to get a cup for the road traveling back to Albuquerque. I'm taking off a star because they keep the cream & sugar behind the counter & they don't know how much I like of either, & my coffee tasted terrible with too much cream.

The day before, Ben let me put my own cream&sugar (of course, i know how much I want of each) which resulted in me returning.
Today they put the cream/sugar even after I requested to do it myself. They need a separate area for people to add these extras.

I guess if you like your coffee black, this won't be an issue for you.

Delicious. I was visiting for two weeks and afraid I'd have to drive to Ames for a sweet and spicy chai and was pleasantly surprised at this chai. Sugar, spice and everything nice :)
Staff was friendly, I think I caught a few new employees, glad to help out with complicated orders ;) everyone was friendly and met my non-dairy needs!
