Brightside Cafe

The omelette was good - great flavor. It was the Philly cheese steak. The meat could have been more tender. I would like to see a more extensive menu. What they offer is great. I liked the chicken noodle soup also.

The scriptures and quotes all over the walls were captivating and inspiring. The place has a calm, peaceful and uplifting spirit to it.

The atmosphere was great. The service was good. There was a bit of a delay getting the food, but they had good reason and the quality wasn't rushed. It is a good breakfast and lunch spot. Plus, they have a board game cafe every weekend!

Food was very cheap but just okay at best. The waitress kept forgetting to refill my coffee and my order was messed up and no one ever came to check to see if everything was alright until our meal was just about over. Overall a "meh" experience.

You should definitely try the food there is cheap and really good. I like the fact it's not all super greasy. The people are nice and really friendly just down to earth. Not a super long wait and not a long wait for the food either.

If this place is packed, backtrack out of there and come back later or you will be waiting FOREVER for your food. This place is understaffed and It feels as though they've forgotten us. We've been here before and the food is good but it's not THAT good to be worth the wait.

They have the best buffalo chicken salad I have ever had. Service is great and even live music on some Friday's when I go in. However, if you like your burgers well done steer away from ordering a burger here. Overall good place to eat

I was so disappointed with my food today. I ordered the bright side burger & fries. My burger was extremely pink & I bit into a fry and it literally turned INTO POWDER. Tried another one and they tasted like they had been sitting out for days.

We live in Vermillion and have been looking for a new place for breakfast. What an amazing find Brightside Cafe was! The food was incredible, the service was friendly and prompt, and the commitment to the common good of Sioux City and the surrounding areas will have us coming back for more! Keep up the good work!

I came in at 11:40 and there were about 6 tables open. I sat down and waited patiently after about 5 minutes 3 more tables came in and recieved menus and drinks before anyone even handed me a menu. After about 10 minutes I'm handed a menu by a waitress who didn't even speak to me. About 20 minutes later still no one has spoken to me but 4 tables now have been greated and served. I know I'm 1 person but I typically over tip. It's very upsetting to be treated as if I were invisible. 0/10 do not recommend.

From fresh sandwiches, pancakes, French toast, breakfast & lunch items like wraps and grilled everything / & burgers, this place is epic. Their food is delicious and the owner is an amazing individual. So awesome having a cafe/ deli downtown, enjoying the convenience and the personality of the staff was seriously a delight.
