This is my new favorite coffee shop in the Des Moines area. I've been to almost all of them, and this place has it all. Craft coffee, great espresso drinks (including awesome seasonal specials), the most amazing staff, & the right atmosphere to enjoy it all.
UPDATED DEC 2022: I moved away, but this is still my favorite coffee shop. Adding a picture of a recent drink I enjoyed at Lightbrite ❤️
Go check 'em out!

GREAT COFFEE IN GRIMES!
Honestly, I did not expect to find such craft, thoughtful coffee while visiting the DM suburbs.
I’m a light roast fan (the fruitier the better) and Lightbrite knows how to do it well. The nitro cold brew was smooth, light, and lovely. The staff was helpful.
The summer menu was fun and unique, but I wasn’t obsessed with the drinks. Worth a try though for the adventurous. Looking forward to my next visit.

Stopped in just to kill some time, decided to try the quarteto. It was a very palatable and smooth espresso and I look forward to trying more of their locally sourced products.

Very cute small coffee shop. Has a very friendly feel to it. Breakfast burrito and salsa were great as well as the Fog drink! Will definitely be back!

First time here was awesome! Great decor and even better coffee. They were literally roasting the coffee when I was there. Coffee is a "lighter" roast, and full of flavor! So great to have a locally owned shop like this that takes coffee roasting and brewing as seriously as they do! Will be back for sure!

PLENTY OF SEATING. EVERYWHERE. At the tables. At the coffee roasting bar. The chairs in back. You'd literally have to be blind to not find a comfy place to sit. If there's one thing I think of when Lightbrite comes to mind, it's "ample-seating-and-delicious-hand-crafted-coffee."

Great coffee and people. Beware that the place is small and is often full on weekday mornings. I have had to move work meetings due to no space to sit.

Excellent staff, coffee, environment. The flow is right in this shop and it feels so welcoming. Also appreciate that they are open on Mondays!

I'm not a coffee drinker but I enjoy the atmosphere of this place and all my coffee drinking friends love it! For myself I normally get a breakfast burrito or something that's non-coffee from their seasonal menus! It has plenty of outlets which make it a great place to work.
