The Lock and Dam is a really fine medium roast which I bought at our Price Chopper market here in Platte City, MO. Thanks!

If you like your coffee tasting like charcoal, this is your brand.
I think they are a little bit confused about what dark roast means.

This was the first whole bean coffee I tried. Been buying at Sam's for about a yr and I love it. Smooth dark roast that definitely satisfies. Full of rich flavor that is never bitter. Worth the extra effort to grind fresh! Thank you for your efforts to save the rain forest!

Dear Sir
I enjoy your coffee very much the flavor is just so delicious. I like Mississippi Grogg, and Crop circle. I visited my daughter and she drinks your coffee and that's how I got started drinking your coffee.
Yours the only coffee I drink now.. I tell my friends all about your coffee.
Thank You Donna

I ordered the Mississippi Grogg off Amazon and it is absolutely delicious! Best coffee I have had in a long time. Just ordered my second 2 lb bag of beans today. I Wish I lived closer to visit the facility. If you want a great tasting coffee this is the place to get it from!

Love their coffee! It's all we buy anymore. We stopped in today and bought their seasonal flavor Stocking Stuffer. Very good!! We got to watch an informative video of their process for free while we browsed their mugs and Verena Street merchandise. You can call ahead and set up a tour with coffee tastings as well.

I love flavored coffees. Cow tipper is my #1 with a close 2nd Mississippi Grog. I have been to 21 different counties in my 50 years of living and drank coffee in most of them. Honduras had some of the best tasting stuff... however, Cow tipper even tops that in my opinion. I'm drinking a cup of it as I'm writing this. Yeah, its that good!

Met long-time friends from out-of-state there the morning of July 10. Amy was very gracious to us and served each of us our choice of their delicious coffee that she brewed on site, using the pour-over method. We loved it! It's also possible to book a group tour of their roasting operation, which I will be experiencing next month.

Went there for a tasting on a Friday afternoon and suprisingly we we're the only visitors there! We got to try some of their coffee and watch a video about their roasting and packaging process. Their office staff was very knowledgeable about their coffees. Got a few pictures of the machinery and bought a handcrafted clay mug on my way out. Definitely worth a visit if you're in the Dubuque area. And their coffee is of course worth a try if you can find it in your local grocery store!

We have usually mixed "Starbucks Coffee" in to our grinding rotations yet now for about the last 10 months we have exclusively been enjoying the "Verena Street Coffee Co." varieties, home grinding their beans from our found-favorites, "99 Mile" and "Mississippi Grogg". We recently tried "Cow Tipper" and BAM!!-- new fans on this flavor as we are coming in to the spring! Kudos!
